Yui has a very innocent heart and soul. She was born to spread her love and kindness to others with her presence.

I honestly think she would do well with showing much love and care with little ones. The little kindergarteners and small elementary school kiddos need so much love, care and patience at the beginning of their education and I think Yui would be great for that.

I will say that teaching isn't for everyone. It takes a lot of preseverance and patience. Your kids will make you smile and laugh, but they will definitely hurt your feelings and dissappoint you, but dang it...you love them.

I hope for the best for Yui and Ritsu. I wonder if we will get to see what they end up choosing!

Don't worry, "finals" isn't the final episode of the season, I know for sure that there is a second opening and ending, so at least 24/26 episodes in total (that is usually how it goes, by pack of 12/13 episodes). My school didn't really had test to know what to do after, but I remember that my teacher were thinking that I should go with something in the science department since math and biology were my stronger points (I have a logical mind). But since I always drew and wanted to work in this kind of line, I've gone to a graphic design school instead.

Love this episode. Almost every week I have to resist saying that the current episode is my favorite episode before I accidentally say every episode is my favorite episode. But it might be true. Especially with this one. I love the focus on that cute turtle on the staircase and the way everybody pets its shell as they walk by. It happened a good bit already, and you'll see them keep doing it in the future. It's a fairly obvious allusion to the tortoise and the hair, with both of them starting at the bottom of the stairs and by the top only the tortoise remains. Nobody exhibits the tortoise more than Yui, especially in this episode. Nobody is going through life at their own slow and steady pace like Yui is, especially as of recently. True to that, while everybody is pressuring her to hand in her career report RIGHT NOW or else she is DOOMED to be a neet, by the end of the episode, we don't even get a proper conclusion to this. She didn't even figure it out. But she is for sure working on it, on her own pace. And she'll end up being fine by the end. It's a really cute message that pops up throughout the whole series, with a certain other character serving as a contrast to the other side of this. Also it's a really funny contrast to Hibike, which is just a non-stop stressful rush to the end. Also, my school didn't have aptitude tests like that at all, I didn't even know that was a thing. But I was a science kid, so my math and physics classes were basically my aptitude tests

You're dead on with the teacher thing. My wife worries all the time about kids. She's not a classroom teacher anymore, she's the elementary math specialist, but she works at a school that's populated with alot of disadvantaged kids. Homeless, bad home lives, abusive parents etc...but she did it by choice instead of working at the elite, private, whitebread school she went to. The heartache she brings home is overwhelming sometimes
