Happy Boxing day? I am not sure if people celebrate that.

Anyway, I love this episode. It's lovely to see how Yui is trying to "grow up."

You can tell she really meant it when she said that she would give 110% all the time to everything. It's not possible, but it's Yui...so she will really try.

Boxing day is a thing in the UK and is something the Victorians invented to give the servents the time off.

For the enka, the modern enka that started after the WW2 is inspired by the traditional japanese musique and is mostly ballad with a particular way of singing, that Yui tried to emulate here, but funny thing to tied to Band-Maid, that with this style of singing that Miku started as a little girl. I really need to make you listen to Inugami Circus Dan, which is a band that mix enka and hard rock ^^.

Realllly love how much this episode shows how much yui has matured (even though shes still very much yui). I think a show that is this slice of life and really takes its time with the mundanities as much as this show does can do a really unique job with showing slow, gradual transformations in its characters. I like it a lot. Also I love how azusa helps yui out as much as she does in this episode. Despite how much she protests otherwise, she really is super sweet on yui, and i think thats adorable
