I realized there was an instrumental to "Zen," as soon as I started recording this video...

Do we want to:A. Do the "Zen" instrumental aloneorB. Do both the "Zen" instrumental and all 4 of the liner notes videos on Prime

Let me know down below!

Also...HELLO?!? Saiki on keyboard! I love that she's now included in the instrumentals!

Firstly, do both the instrumental of Zen and the liner notes. I wish I had known you were going to do Zen and Lock and Load in one go, because I would have suggested continuing to the next track. They rearranged Without Holding Back to include Saiki on the keys, and it is something. They posted an official live from the TGT show. If you recall, Saiki, Misa, Akane and Kanami did motion capture for Rock is a Lady's Modesty where Saiki is on keys. To me it seems like a natural progression for her to want to play and for the band in general. It opens up possibilities that I for one am looking forward to. Zen is a great track; I liked it from my first listen. I'm not into anime, so the tie ins don't mean much other than I know a song was done for one. Band Maid writes great songs and are progressing as a band, which I think is a great thing.

Your reactions are never boring, no matter how long they are. If you wanted to do the Zen instrumental and all 4 installments of the Liner Notes, I would be there for it. Love hearing your insights on the music we are listening to.

Juan San

Kanami could be a phenomenal blues guitarist; she has all the feeling of the greats (Gary Moore, SRV...). As far as I'm concerned, you can make your videos as long as you want; they're very entertaining, so Zen instrumental and liner notes seem perfect to me.

You could never bore us, no matter how long the video. Some of my favourite videos of yours are the longer ones.

The difference Saiki makes on keyboards is already noticeable in their acoustic concerts. It's exciting to hear some of the new versions of their songs with all five band members playing their instruments.

Nomad1991

From piano to keyboard saiki has added new sounds that are not programmed..love lock and load ..definitely check out the new without holding back video 🤘🏻🫶🏼🤘🏻

Saiki singing and playing keyboards during a song with Band-Maid? You haven’t seen the acoustic concert from last year apparently… Yes, the Zen instrumental and the liner notes. I hope they do liner note videos for everything they do going forward. They are fun and informative.

Nomad1991

In video game terms they leveled up 🤘🏻🫶🏼🤘🏻

Drummer speak? oh you mean like watching a Drum Roll Tony reaction 😁

It's cool to see Saiki now included in the instrumentals! The instrumentals were originally created to give Saiki a vocal break, but now she can rest her voice AND still be involved in the music! On the question of doing the "Zen" instrumental and/or 4 liner notes, my vote would go to do them separately. You could do more analysis on each without worrying about going to long. Just my two cents worth.

Did you notice Miku playing her newest Signature Zemaitis Guitar?

Wayne B

Band-Maid has evolved, for sure! Same members but first adding Miku's guitar to the mix to free up Kanami. And now to add Saiki to the mix with the keyboards is adding another level to the band! Miku at the start of "Lock and Load" is so cute, Po!

Wayne B

Hey, NittPicc, if you would like a copy of the Outburn magazine with Miku on the cover and a good article about Band-Maid with awesome pictures of the rest of the band too, I have a extra copy and would love to send it to you. Let me know if you want it.

Msquare

Liner notes definitely.

Vlad the Maidiac

"Starry Pigeons" Already two signature guitars from her beloved Zemaitis. Amazing.

I guess what NittPicc means is that singing with acoustic piano and with rock-style keys like here are two different things. Although it would be nice in NittPicc comments on that in more detail.

You may ask Peter Lim if he can purchase that cosplay dress for you in Japan. He is absolutely reliable. Just ask that costume master for the price, and send Peter Lim the money through PayPal. Probably some extra fee for his mediation efforts would be in order. You may actually ask your fans and Patrons for help in raising funds for this costume, I guess. I would think it costs a fortune. Like, perhaps two or three thousand dollars? But you may try to do it with a crowdfunding project.

I was referring to the Billboard show with Saiki playing during Memorable, Daydreaming, and especially Bubble. Yes it was a piano sound, but definitely rock and quite different from Choose Me at Yokohama. Great stuff.

MISA MISA MISA!!!!! I am now eagerly anticipating Sai-chan playing keys on a Miku track.

Ethan

Drummer speak..can confirm. Even just to yourself.

Ethan

Saiki did actually play piano and sing at the same time. I can't remember the song or venue, but I'm sure someone here will know.
