Hola Familia!

It was a good and rough week...how? You’ll find out below. For now? Let’s talk music and anime!

🎀BAND-MAID Sunday:

I heard that there is this great band called “BAND-MAIKO” and they could be considered BAND-MAID’s biggest rival. I have had the pleasure of checking out this band twice already and I really enjoyed what I heard. I am ready to dive into the rest of their album going into April. The song we will start with this weekend will be “TORA and TORA.” Let’s see what these MAIKO’s got! 😉

🔹DIR EN GREY - “Ain’t Afraid of Dying”

This band has a way of captivating their audience by not only their instrumentals, but with their look and performance on stage. Even their music videos can be interesting (to some, disturbing) to watch. That’s what I like about them though. I am excited to check them out again this week since it’s been a while!

🔹Living Color - “Cult of Personality”

My knowledge of this song only comes from CM PUNK’s entrance into the ring at WrestleMania. If you didn’t know I liked wrestling before now...SURPRISE! Anyway, from what I understand there’s some really cool history here and it’s meaning is still significant today. Let’s dive in and learn about this song and why it’s important to music history and culture!

🔹FREE on PATREON! The Warning feat. BAND-MAID - In Japan Vlog

I want to share this with fans of both fandoms so we are making this video FREE for all! This video was suggested to me 2 weeks ago and I knew it existed, but I never got around to watching it. I am also curious to hear what Dani, Pau and Ale are like on camera. I also just want to see them with the MAIDS! Cuteness and cool overload commence!

🈁ANIME Reactions:

🔹K-ON! - S.2, Ep.20, “Yet Another School Festival”

I told my students that friends on the internet congratulated them for their achievements and they thought it was pretty cool. They don’t know much about my YouTube and Patreon since I try and keep those parts of my life somewhat separate, but I talk about some of the negative comments I get occasionally. I know they are kids still learning and growing, but it can be very validating when my high schoolers say, “It’s funny that people will argue with you about the pronunciation of your own instrument.” I like to think they are my cheerleaders and I am their coach in their corner. I love those kids even if they can drive me crazy sometimes! Anyway…I got sick this week. It must have been a freak thing because I am feeling okay now, but I was worried I would be sick all of my Spring break. I guess you have to take the good and the bad sometimes!

I hope you find what you’re lookin’ for this week!

Con Amor, 💜NittPicc💜
