I believe that this is one of my favorite albums. BAND-MAIKO knows what’s up. “Akasimahen” is apparently a cover of BAND-MAID’s “Awkward,” but I have a feeling there isn’t going to be anything awkward about this. “Ansan” was such a great recreation, so I wonder how beautiful this one is going to be!

🔹The Beatles - I Am The Walrus

I am only ever heard the iconic line from this song. So here we are...who is the “eggman?” Why is Lennon calling himself “the walrus?” Am I the “eggman?” There are so many questions and I don’t have any answers! I will, however, after some research!

Is it safe to listen to and watch a music video that will make me blush on Easter Sunday? I guess we will find out! This band has a Transformer style look to them and I can get behind it. I can get down with a gimmick if the music is good, so let’s check out this toe-curling song, shall we!

🔹BAND-MAIKO - 2019 Interview & behind the scenes filming of “Gion-cho”

I know I dedicate every weekend to the Maids, but I figured it would be so nice to see what the Maikos were up to this weekend! I couldn’t help myself when I saw that there was in interview with them in 2019. I thought they wouldn’t have done a live interview to protect identities. I also have wanted to check out the making of “Gion-cho” for a while now, so...here we are!

I am happy for the long weekend. I am currently trying to catch up on recording since my brother is coming into town soon. It’s exciting because he will be here for a whole week! We’ve never had a sibling meet up for that amount of time and I cannot wait to go to the concert, show him around Dallas, and just hang out in general! It’s gonna be a blast!
