Hola Familia!

Sorry for the late post today!

I am way too excited for this week...NITTBRO IS COMING! I cannot wait to see Lacuna Coil with him, but since I am still learning of that band I sort of feel like a parent going with their excited kid to a concert. It’s time to explore Lacuna Coil sometime!

Let’s get to the music!

🎀BAND-MAID Sunday:

I know it’s not the last song on the album, but since I have already reacted to “Gion-cho” we are finishing out MAIKO journey with “すくりーみんぐ” (Screaming). I didn’t even realize at first that this album was going to be covers of original BAND-MAID songs, so I am excited to check this version out and then check out the original right after!

🔹Bruce Springsteen - “Kitty’s Back”

I am familiar with (sort of) “The Boss.” I have heard the well known songs like “Born to Run,” “Dancing in the Dark,” and “Born to Run,” so I know of the style of music he plays. I was suggested a track from an earlier album of his called “The Wild, The Innocent & The Street Shuffle” and I am excited about this. I cannot wait to check this out!

🔹Chloe Qisha - “21st Century Cool Girl”

I grew up in the age of pop music. I was a huge fan of the Backstreet Boys, N’SYNC, The Spice Girls...I don’t mind it one bit! This artist was suggested to me over on Discord and she is a new pop artist from the UK. I already love the title of the song, so I cannot wait to check this out!

🔹BAND-MAID - “Screaming” album version and live from the 10 Anniversary Tour

The last song of the BAND-MAIKO album apparently is a cover of BAND-MAID’s “Screaming” (have I gone on too long with this joke, yet?) so I am excited to check out the original version. I had also wondered where the awesome album cover had come from. I think this was one of my favorite group pictures as well! Anyway, I haven’t heard this one so let’s do a listen to ALL OF THEM!

🈁ANIME Reactions Coming Up:

🔹Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night - S.1, Ep.11, “What I Love”

🔹Angel Beats! - S.1, Ep.11, “Change the World”

🔹A Place Further than the Universe - S.1, Ep.11, “Bash the Drum Can”

🔹Princess Tutu - S.1, Ep.5, “On the Night of the Fire Festival”

🔹Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End - S.1, Ep.5, “Phantoms of the Dead”

🔹Haikyuu!! - S.1, Ep.11, “Decision”

🔹The Apothecary Diaries - S.2, Ep.31, “The Shrine of Choosing”

🔹K-ON! - S.2, Ep.24, “Graduation Ceremony!”

I have a week with my brother. It’s crazy because we are treating this like a sibling vacation. We never get this much time to hang out together so I am excited to go to the concert, hang out and cook some good food and play video games. I sort of want to make a vlog of our adventures, but we will see!

Cheers to another week!

Con Amor,💜NittPicc💜
