Hooray for getting to watch my SECOND full concert!

I got more hype as the concert went on. I was sweating from all the dancing and hopping in my seat!

If you haven't seen this concert, I am happy to share this moment with you!

Starting to watch now, but for the two bands before Band-Maid, I really liked the first one, ReoNa. Ave Mujica was good, but the levels really hurt it, couldn't hear some of the instruments at all most of the time. I did archive the whole thing, so if you would really like, I can put it somewhere to share.

Cindy Clarkson

This is the live version not the archived version? Because the sound is so muffled...

NittPicc Reacts

That’s what I thought, but it’s what was on YouTube.

Bill Hallisey

The opening music was "Burn" their walk up song.

Cindy Clarkson

In my archived version for the concert the mix is better and Saiki is slighlty pitch corrected, especially for Present Perfect but no Problem, I just noticed...

NittPicc Reacts

I’m glad you said something because I felt like I was going crazy with the sound.

Bill Hallisey

It's cool that the Band-Maid Prime channel released videos of the ads for a shochu where "Super Sunshine" is the theme song highlighting celebrations. Band-Maid has some cameos in the ads.

Glen Kelley

I have the live from the original live stream and it sounds pretty similar to this one. The YT version is a bit more muffled.

Wayne B

A great way to get Sunday going! Band-Maid bringing the fire!

Glen Kelley

Thanks and don't worry about the lighting, just turn off the lamp, you'll see the video better and we don't care. It did seem a little muffled but still pretty damn good. I've noticed that Saiki tends to still be a bit tense when they first start, she's usually a bit flat for the first couple of songs but once she's throws off her natural shyness, she really lets loose. She still has a bit of trouble with Present Perfect, but that's after 30 minutes of non-stop singing her heart out. If you look closely, she's really dripping after 30 minutes because she is putting a ton of energy into her singing and dancing. I think a while back, she mentioned that she was trying to put more physical emotion into her performances, more facial expression, more body movement. It's been a couple of years now and each performance she just gets better and better. Overall, the whole band is just getting better with each show.

Wow. I have no words... almost. So NittPicc, if you're in the front row, they are certainly going to notice you!!!!! This was a truly fantastic reaction.

Wayne B

Smiling like an idiot is a real problem watching Band-Mais!

I watched the live stream when I was in Japan, Saiki was on fire as she was in Taiwan. The set lists for festivals are shorter; it makes sense to go pedal to the metal. What is missing that we get at "regular" okyuji's are the MCs and Omajinai Time and a Miku song. I was at the April 11 okyuji at the same venue, Zepp Yokohama capacity is about 2100. The energy was the same or a bit more intense. Omajinai Time was an unexpected pleasure, the rest of the band hijacked it. To have Akane and Misa in particular with a microphone was priceless - Misa doing moe moe kyuuuunn in different voices, I almost died. They posted about this on their socials. I am so looking forward to the Budokan shows, I can't even begin to imagine what they will bring to the table - other than great performances. Don't miss the opportunity to see them. I forgot to mention that they debuted the not yet released new song Days.

I stayed up to watch it live. I already was a fan of ReoNa so having her and BAND-MAID on the same bill was a bonus for me. I would recommend checking out ReoNa, "the small girl with the small voice." Her music combines a lot of classical and jazz and the lyrics tend to have some darkness in them. I recommend The First Take version of Anima or the Orchestral version of Nai, Nai.

Juan San

That crowd was infectious, they were into from the get go. That was a great streaming (and I think it sounded better live, can´t tell). Both previous performances were also good, Ave Mujica is a band I´m following lately and it worths.

Yepp, the way Kanami looks at Saiki during P.P. ... just before she sets out to pull off the ultimate betrayal with Miku. 🤭 Maybe revenge for a certain ceremony between Saiki and Akane? 🤔 The maids really give some TV soap operas a run for their money. 😂

Drive Time

"Searing" is the entrance track.

Minchorules2809

Don't stress, you are entitled to take a week off anytime you feel like it 🙂

Bill Hallisey

Drive Time, you're right. "Searing", "Burn" I'm an old man and a fool and got the words mixed up. All I know is that entrance is FIRE! LOL!
