Poor Xiaolan. I can imagine the fear of needing to find a new job, but at least she has 6 months to find a new one. Asking Maomao for help might need to be a last resort, but maybe Shisui can be of some help in that regard?

This episode was a nice step back from the previous one (if ya know ya know).

It feels like a "girlhood" episode and I may not seem too girly, but I related to this episode hard! I have always wanted to go to a bath house, but the nudity might be the hardest part for me. I've always wanted to get a massage, but the thought of someone else touching me makes me a little nervous.

The last thing? The hair removal. If you have a woman in your life that chooses to remove their body hair, ask them how much it can hurt and then ask them if they think it' worth it even if it does!

A couple of things :) 1. I went to a Korean Bath House near me and it was a pretty good experience. The baths were segregated by gender and only accessible through the respective locker rooms. This place you were allowed to wear a bathing suit if you wanted but no one really did. You always shower or bath with soap/shampoo before entering the baths. The baths are meant for relaxation via heat, various massage jets, etc and not to clean yourself. This place also had different pools where the water was held at different temperatures and you were supposed to alternate between them. I think it's very easy to get over the nudity in places like this because everyone is nude and no one cares or makes any issue with it (at least that's my experience on the men's side). It is very relaxing :) Also, there is another Korean Bath House near that one that does have a co-ed water area but bathing suits are required for that one, obviously. 2. Massages are great for relaxation but also for healing sore/tight muscles and everyday stresses. You should be fine if you go to a reputable place and most places allow you to choose your massage therapist (or at least the gender). You'll be covered most of the time and they usually only expose the body part being worked on. Swedish massage is the best to start with if you've never had one before. Just make sure to hydrate before and after and make sure to use the restroom before the massage starts. The quiet music and massage is almost hypnotic and it's not unknown for people to fall asleep during massages. You can also only do 30 minutes if you want to check it out or even just a foot or head and shoulder massage if you really want to ease into it. Beware that some massages can border on painful because they have to go deep to work out the tension (myofascial massages are the worst for me because they have to use less oil/lotion on your skin and my hair tends to also increase the friction but the results are worth it if you need it). 3. My ex switched to eyebrow threading versus waxing because her skin got less irritated (and she said the pain was less for her). I remember my leg hair getting "removed" by the kevlar motorcycle pants I wear when I ride. The weave is so tight that my hair would get grabbed by it occasionally and ripped out. That definitely wasn't fun and I couldn't really wear a base layer in the summer to prevent it because it was already too hot in those pants.

A change of pace. Not sure if you've figured out Maomao's age, but when the series started she was around 17 and is now around 18. Jinshi is around 19, but pretends to be 25, he's about a year older than Maomao.
