⚠️THE VIDEO ACTUALLY ENDS AT 33:32. The reason why this video is so long is because I left some edit from last episode at the end...Please disregard...unless you wanna see me cry again!⚠️

After last week's episode, I hoped for one that would not kill me emotionally.

Thank goodness for this one.

All I did was squeak and squeal over Stark and Fern.

I officially ship them...I'm team "Stern" or "Fark!"

MadHouse, the studio which produce this show, went all the way in the dance scene. The episode is longer than usual, they cut the ending song to squeze more time. They hired a dance school and the animator watched the dancers. The scene is not CGI, it's all hand animation. Even the music is original. Evan Call make the piece specially for the scene. Fantastic. More meanings of the names of the new characters. - Orden means Order. - Wirt means Host - Mut means Courage - Gabel means fork.

And the ship have sailed ^^. Yep, everyone ship Fern and Stark, and not just because it's two kids around the same age, even if it is true, but after this episode, you can't say that there isn't definetly some kind of awakening from Fern, Stark is less obvious, but he is a boy, raised as a warrior, who mostly interacted with kids and older people... He didn't even know you offer something for a birthday, so knowing what feeling are might not be his forte ^^'. I will just say for the next one, that you might have a little surprise, but we will talk about it when the episode will came out.

The writing on this show is just top notch. The English translation, from what I've read, is pretty close to the actual Japanese dialog. I tried the dub just to see how it sounded and found it somewhat jarring compared to the Japanese. The music is such an important part of this story, it wouldn't be the same without it. One of the reaction channels that watched show when to a concert in London a couple of weeks ago that featured all the music from the show with Evan Call conducting. Here's a short note about it: The Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Orchestra Concert featuring composer Evan Call and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra took place in the UK on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at London's OVO Arena Wembley. The event was a massive success. Here's link to a short section from the concert - you'll enjoy this one - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjdtEUe40rM
