You're telling me Shisui was LOULAN THE WHOLE TIME?

It makes sense now that Loulan had the most ladies in waiting and they all had the same facial features and makeup style.

I honestly did feel bad for the woman who was reminded of the old emperor when Jinshi grabbed her. I also feel awful for Jinshi asking, "do I look like him?"

It was nice to see Jinshi lose his cool over Maomao. The next episode looks fun, so what's going to happen to our Maomao???

The only I want to say is that Loulan is a more complex character that it seems. A very well written one.

Yep, I knew she was the same person, I figured it out in the ghost story episode, when Maomao said that Shisui reminded her of someone, I knew it was Loulan because that was the only option possible. Also, speaking of the ghost story episode, Taihou, the woman who directed this and passed away the year prior, is also the woman that the empress dowager talked about when she was young. The woman who said she had a girl with the emperor but it's was officially said that it was the baby of a doctor, the famous lost princess, first born of the late emperor and older sister of the current emperor (which would make it the aount of Jinshi bloodline speaking). Now for Shisui/Loulan, remember at the start of the season, we had the story of a lady in waiting looking so much like the concubine she served that when the concubine died, the other forced the lady in waiting to take her place, a subtil way to prepare this storyline ^^. But also, a more funny thing, when Maomao made icecream, it was for Loulan, but Shisui came in the end eating the rest with Maomao and Xiolan, so either way, Shisui/loulan have eaten the icecream made by Maomao lol. As for Lahan, it not specified in this season, but just to clear stuff, he is the nefew of Lakan, Maomao's cousin, that Lakan adopted as his son. Terrible genealogic three, since now Lahan is both the cousin and the brother of Maomao if she ever be recognised as Lakan's daugter, but also, Maomao being the adoptive daugter of Luomen, who is the uncle of Lakan, make it so Maomao is the cousin of Lakan and cousin in second degree of Lahan... It's not just the emperor's family who is complicated lol. Also, I told you to have something to cool you down, because I knew angry Jinshi would make you react hehe (it did for me after all).

Like Lakan... every character has its complexities..
