...and now I feel terrible for Sakiko.

BUT it does not excuse her attitude and behavior towards her previous band, CRYCHIC.

I am happy for It's MyGO!!!!! and their (almost seems reluctant?) promise to stay together.

But hey...Ave Mujica?

Kawaii Sock Puppet

Oh I'd read that you get the full explanation in this episode but I guess not, and it makes sense to carry some over into the new series. Be prepared to feel worse though! (although I agree she probably still could have handled it better)

Kawaii Sock Puppet

This was a great episode with Soyo's words about Tomori and Sakiko and then the full run through of Ave Mujica - your face was a picture during the prelude part of WTF is going on!!... I would've liked to have made a live version of that song my request as it's such a good intro to the band, but I knew you'd be hearing it here on the show.

Oh, I didn't think of Ghost - but that's a good one. I'm older, so it really screamed Dream Theater to me. As I've described to other people - MyGo!!!!! is Anime Weezer, and Ave Mujica is Anime Dream Theater. Musically, they found a star in the making in the drummer. (Akane - yeah same name. lol) Sakiko actor (Takao) won a international classical pianist competition in Milan when she was like 10 or 11. before going into voice acting. She'd never played in a band. Timoris - Umiri - just started learning bass a couple months before signing on for the show/band in 2020-21. And Doloris - Uika - (Rico), has a solo career, an amazing voice, and knew enough acoustic and electric guitar that they could teach her to play lead on the seven string. And most remarkably - Mortis - Mutsumi - had no musical training at all. She's very much the Miku - she had to learn from scratch. She's come a long long way now, the current songs shows how much she's progressed. They are also blowing up as a live band. They 'opened' for Band-Maid at that Central festival. And they just got signed to be the opener for Evanescence for their mini Japan tour in December. As for light or dark, all I'll say is - don't put on any sunglasses. And buckle up. 😏

I love how these shows don't only show more realistic/grounded emotions of the characters, but they (esp Ave Mujica) has something to *say* about certain issues and how Japanese society in general has dealt (or not) with them. And unfortunately from what I've read and talked to people from Japan, is sadly accurate.

I hope after Ave Mujica you will watch Yume Mita, it is currently airing right now. You will love the drama.

Sakiko's action, despite her circumstances, are messed up. But yeah she's a kid. But glad you liked Ave Mujica's music. Random tidbit, Ave Mujica will be the support/opening band for Evanescence's Japan tour later this year.
