I was not expecting for what happened in this episode to happen so suddenly, but now I am curious what direction the story will go now.

Fun fact - the band that Mitsumi and Sakiko go see at school, the violin player is Ayasa, who you know as being the violin player and founder of East of Eden who you reacted to last year! Also, it was Soyo with Anon - Tomori doesn't like crowded places, so she couldn't go. So they both saw. I think one of the subtexts here was that Sakiko had built a 'super group' situation with celebrities and and a idol star, and she wanted their music and performance to be what drew people to them, not the fame of the members.

Glad you're enjoying the next part of the story. The drama is more heightened here, compared to MyGo!!!!!. It's gonna be quite a ride. :3 But yeah, Nyanu (drummer) made people mad. Influencer mentality of clout chasing is strong in that one. She's my fave member though.

I think it's pretty clear that one of Sakiko's main motivations for having the band be anonymous was so that Tomori and the others wouldn't know she had formed a new band and hurt them further. There are others which will be revealed later. I appreciate the comment that if she had told her old bandmates why she had to quit they would've understood better, but I think family shame and association is considered a much bigger deal in Japan and she didn't want to have that impact on her friends. I'm really looking forward to watching through again now knowing what I know, and seeing you find out too!...

Yeah I've discussed with Japanese people in their 60's, and discussing your personal/family/business org problems outside of that immediate group is just not a thing. What happens in those situations is not ever supposed to reach outside. And Sakiko represents being in a major major financial family. She would have been brought up and conditioned to keep herself and family business to herself.
