♨️NO AIR CONDITIONER EDITION!♨️

I am an idiot. I know that Mutsumi's parents are famous. I blame the heat for my inability to think through everything I was taught at the beginning of this episode.

Anyway...poor Mutsumi. You can tell that she doesn't want that limelight. You can see that playing guitar was her only escape from the world that knew who she was from her comedian father and actress mother.

Sakiko finally gets a temporary home, but she's causing some mental turmoil for one of her band mates.

Also...it's their first concert and it broke Mutsumi. What's going to happen next? IT'S ONLY THE SECOND EPISODE!!!!

I think something that may become clearer as it goes on- but even Nayamu didn't get that Sakiko was one of *the* 'Togawa' family. It's like being the grand-daughter of the CEO of AT&T or another conglomerate. So she didn't want people prying into her life either given her father and her current situation, so being in a masked band was as much about hiding her identity as everyone elses. As for Mutusmi's mental state right now - well let's say it's a joke among fans that everyone in MyGo!!!!! just needs a hug, where Ave Mujica - they need serious therapy. ;)

I'm not sure you read the comments from the first episode about family shame and not wanting to pass that on by association to her former bandmates. Here another reason for Sakiko wanting the band to be made anonymous is made clear in order to avoid the pressure and distraction for Mutsumi. Though I guess she could've explained better why it was important to remain masked, perhaps Nyamu might not have wanted to join then - as a streamer and influencer she obviously is used to looking for exposure

The names are definitely tricky for me to keep up with and I'm watching a lot fewer animes than you! There's family names and first names and cute versions of names etc - plus their stage names...

Bill Hallisey

I don't know, since I haven't watched anymore of the anime than you have, but could her dad been set up as the fall-guy for a scandal, because her mom's dad didn't like him.

Joined to watch these some general comments from the series so far. Sakiko always speaks in a formal way even compared to the other rich characters and uses a more formal personal pronoun. The bang dream franchise as a whole before Mygo had much less drama and is quite different. The musics still great though. Post Mygo the general tone has shifted to be more full of drama and all that comes with it. The current airing anime from the franchise Yumemita is also full of drama.

Just typing these comments as I watch along, and I heard that you said Sakiko is called something else... which she is, depends on the person. Sakiko (Oblivionis/keyboards), is called Saki by Mutsumi (Mortis/rhythm guitar). She's the only one who calls her that from what I remember, being childhood friends and all. Uika (Doloris/vocalist-leadguitar) calls her Saki-chan. Nyamu (Amoris/drummer) apparently just calls her Sakiko, the disrespectful brat that she is. And Umiri (Timoris/bass) calls everyone by their last name, cos she's pro and detached. Mutsumi and Saki are really close, but with what's going on with her life right now, Saki's being really Oblivionis--- er oblivious about it. And with how bad Mutsumi is at talking it is the perfect recipe for misunderstandings. Just a note, Sakiko is the producer, composer, and keyboardist, but the lyrics are done by Uika, who also helps in compositions. Can't wait for when you watch the 3rd episode.

By the way the ending theme is called Georgette Me Georgette You - it's so beautiful and dynamic - sadly not really any live versions I know of to request, but there is one of Kanon playing the piano part which could be good as a Patreon extra at some point?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMufB2cFfJY
