So in hindsight, I now know (I think, lol) that the band actually did break up after a performance where Mutsumi absolutely broke down.

We see everyone go back to their lives...sort of.

It seems that being in Ave Mujica has worked to for Nyamu to get more exposure.

Sumimi continues her life as a star.

We see Mana not even speak of Sakiko by name. She really only joined for the gig, didn't she?

...and then Sakiko. She's the one that had to go back to what she had before. I am glad that her grandfather came to get her, but my heart is with her father. I hope he can get better.

Just to clarify more of the names Sumimi is the duo idol group our lead vocalist is in. Sumimi coz I think it's from their last names, SUMIda Mana and MIsumi Uika (Our beautiful golden retriever vocalist of Ave Mujica). Well Mana indeed didn't say Saki by name, since they are not friends or acquainted with each other only through Uika. I thought we were discussing Umiri. Ahaha. I didn't have much comment last time coz I was superlate to getting to the vid and I have nothing to add to what everyone have said, which is much more in depth than I have. And now I'm just typing away as I watch, so apologies for any disjointed ramblings. Cooking til the end... Mutsumi wasn't acting, but a lot of the fans and even Nyamu for the most part, til the DID reveal thought she was. Which also compounds her inferiority complex towards Mutsumi. I've watched the series a few times already but I just noticed this. Sakiko went out to the bathhouse to escape Nyamu's TV show appearance, only to be bathing with Sumimi's music playing in the background. No escape. Which kinda makes me uncomfortable with this episode. Coz it's us, the viewers, just observing how Sakiko is going with the flow right now, on auto-pilot and maybe more depressed than ever, and it's suffocating. We also see the ramifications of their disbandment to the members. I totally forgot the bright parts of this episode. LIke Anon being a doofus with her Togawa Group jingle thing. And Taki being another doofus on the overpass. But man, that part at Saki's house always gets me. Tomori's not good with talking, so she never really approached Saki even if she found out they were now in the same school. Aside from the last episode of MyGo this would probably be the only other time Tomori pro-actively tried talking to her, minus the leaving of drunk post-its in her shoe locker. So glad Anon was with her to catch that limmousine. Timeline wise, they disbanded without playing a single song for that leg of the tour. Because how? Mortis can't play guitar at all. And that also triggers Sakiko moving back to grandpa's. Oooh I also forgot that this was the episode Soyo went to Mutsumi's. Next episode is fun. :3

So this leads right from the end of last ep to this, and then everything outside of the flashbacks that Tomori had about Saki and Crychic were in real time following that concert. So the timeline in general is: Ep 2, the end, first breakdown for Mutsumi. Ep 3., the next show and concert, people asking Mutsumi to 'recreate' the breakdown, but they don't. After the concert, there is a argument at the train station. The next tv show, Mutsumi has the final breakdown and gives control to Mortis. Ep 4. Mortis is in control, 'helps' Saki by manipulating the rest of the band so they are 'happy'. Then the day before the show, they realize she can't play guitar, and Mortis is revealed. The rest of the band decide they can't go on, so show ends with them disbanding. Ep 5 - starts minutes after the end of Ep 4. Everything takes place from that point on. Nyamu has now joined the same agency that Ave Mujica and sumini were in. Sakiko moves back in with her dad and goes to school, until Grandfather invites her back and she's had too much of her dad and leaves him. The only flashbacks are when Saki was preparing Crychic in middle school with Tomori. And I think they put the part about 'Togawa Group' to give stronger hint why Saki is still keeping everything a secret. Not only in general that it is considered improper to involve the public with your family situation, but here, Saki's families business is so well known, they are recognizable through ad jingles sung by popular actresses. Saki also knows, how her Grandfather would react if she told anyone about what was going on with the family.

I understand the confusion, and I felt the same first time through, and I could still be wrong!...but I think it's because the episode starts with them saying Mutsumi was cooking to the end, implying that a performance just happened but they didn't play any songs. So I think they basically did another impromptu scene with Mortis delivering her "acting" but no songs (they talk about people getting refunds), and they fact they couldn't play led to the disbandment - whereas at the previous concert end it was just at the end where Mutsumi made the mistake leading to the whole Mortis situation.
