This was a cool last episode.

It was nice to have a concert at the end of the series to have the characters/performers show off their abilities.

The moment where Oblivionis was knighting the others in the band was a big light-bulb moment for me.

I know it seems really late to catch on to this really late, but noticing that Mortis' name is talking about the death of a part of her. Amoris talks about the love and jealousy that she feels about others around her, and Timoris being the fear that was sown through commitment. Doloris is scared of being hurt...

Those names are supposed to be:

Oblivionis: "I do not fear forgetting"

Mortis: "I do not fear death"

Doloris: "I do not fear sorrow"

Timoris: "I do not fear being afraid"

Amoris: "I do not fear love"

Isn't that NUTS?!

In my opinion, Ave Mujica is the best band of the Bang Dream franchise. I like to think that is because of the two powerhouses that are Rico Sasaki (Uika/Hatsune) and Kanon Takao (Sakiko). They exude charisma. Obviously this is a team work, the other girls, newcomers in some aspects, are great. Akane Yonezawa in the drums is insane , and the producers of the music make this band the hit that is. Love them to death. As to watch the movie before season 2, I have contradictory information about it. Some says that it's no necesary, but if you scratch the surface a little it said that the movie is the bridge between the seasons, so yes. I don't know really. Also season 2 is a combine season between the two bands, no seson 2 for MyGo and a differet season for Ave Mujica. It's the two in one season.

A real fun way to end the show, for now. I do worry slightly about them extending the story as I think this ends so well, but I suppose we have to trust in the writers - plus it gives more basis for continued new music - there's a new track called "A song of romance" which is amazing and I think will feature in the film. You could say that the band personas happening to have the same issues/characteristics as their real life counterparts is too convenient when Saki is not aware of this from the beginning, but I think it adds to the overall dream-like quality and un-realness of the series. The songs from the Ave Mujica part of the concert were Octogram dance, Alter Ego (the bass heavy catchy one) which features in the patreon request, and Musica Caelestis which features the stars that Uika and Saki bonded over. The new series is apparently a joint MyGo and Ave Mujica series, which I suppose technically this one was too, but it will be interesting to see how they go about that.

Glad you enjoyed the performances. Also it's okay that you somehow just got clued in on their names right at the end, it seems like a nice lightbulb moment. Though you won't be reading this out in a vid since this is the last episode, I really love some of the small, yet fun details that was going on in the performances. For MyGO, I love the frown Soyo had when Anon was showboating the crowd, Taki also had a similar expression for Raana I think. For Ave Mujica, Nyamu's love hate expressions to Mutsumi all through out the performance was just cute. Also Mortis in the hand mirror scared ya. What to do with Mondays... I would like to suggest Yumemita as well on the top of my head to continue the new gen BangDream bands, and music anime themed in general. Another suggestion is TariTari, but i can't find available streaming. Also Kids on the Slope, if you haven't seen it yet. It's just one season. :3 Looking forward to that 3 song reaction. I hope you get to see Wakaremichi no, Sono Saki e is a joint live between MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica. sumimi and CRYCHIC appeared as the guest acts. It featured most of the songs within both the MyGO and Ave Mujica anime.

I will die on this hill: Ave mujica is the best band in all of bang dream both in terms of story and music.

I like Morfornica. The music is great. The bassist and the drummer are beasts and the violinist is a amazing differentiation from the rest of the bands. Not a big fan of the singer. Not bad but not at the same level of the rest.
