Our Top Secret Agents voted on what video to see and here it is. Since we started doing Rewinder, certain topics have been asked for over and over again. There are all sorts of reasons why we may not get to something. In the case of the Beast Quake, early on we struggled to pinpoint the right way to use "the moment." The run happens while there's still a lot of game to be played, it's a long play so it's hard from a legal perspective, we don't like being nice to Seahawks fans - all sorts of things made us get in our own way.

But finally, Joe was ready. He said, "to hell with you nerds, I got this," and as it turned out - he did got this.

So, welcome to a moment in history one month before anyone else will be.

As the man himself would say, "Yeah"

Russet Burbank

Well this is the way it should be anyway, I don't like it when the "moment in history" is whatever chip-shot field goal wins the game in overtime after the play everyone remembers.

Pizzapants

i'm only a couple minutes in, but this is weird, why are you doing a deep rewind on a play that is clearly just a boring run for no gain here?

Heiko

“‘Get off me’, he says to Tracy Porter!”

Stephen Walker Jr.

To the chagrin of Saints fans (me) everywhere. But I’ll still watch of course :D

David Falterman

As a Saints fan, I am ready to suffer again.

Steve S.

You have to realize that this event means as much to Seattle as Nirvana, The Space Needle and Frasier.

LemonSoiree

Man, I watched this live, saw the zillion replays in the broadcast, watched it in the recaps, saw the posts with the clips on Twitter and the various memes, and I *still* had to rewind and watch the run three times while watching this because how the hell was that real!

Samuel Fout

Seeing this in person was one of the best sports memories I have.

David Grier

It was nice to follow it up with a little breakdown. At the end of these videos I usually rewind the moment a few times to try to let everything sink in, but incorporating that into the video is nice

Mac S

joe's "uhhh. what the fuck just happened?" is just so perfect. y'all killed it on this one.

My dad has watched the Seahawks since age 7, when they first became a team in ‘76, so in turn I’ve watched the Seahawks from a young age. I watch the game with him every chance I get. I have never heard my dad get louder than he was when Lynch hit that stiff arm from hell. Great video on a great moment.

Nikoli Stevens

Please please please use the radio broadcast for the run when it goes on YT ! Steve Raible beats the bottom tier TV guys in his sleep

Cameron Juntti

Hurts my soul as a proud member of Who Dat Nation 🙁
