Breaking news : Modder found staring at “Publish” button for 2 hours (Patreon)

Don't take this as a call for pity, support, or attention. I just want to explain why I am the way I am.

I am prettttttyyy asocial, as you may have noticed. I get anxious talking to people and doing any kind of social interaction.

It literally took me 2 hours to write something for today's Remielle post. I'm not joking. It's not funny <(＿ ＿)>

Every time I tell myself: nobody is reading the description. I'm posting boobs. Just hit “send”.

Imagine me sitting there, having fun working on a design for a character I like

I'm thinking, drawing, exploring, creating. Then, when it's more than halfway done, the painful technical part begins: making it actually look good.

That means fixing all the stretchy, bendy, broken, curled, clipping, disappearing/reappearing outfit and body parts. That's fine, I'll manage. It's part of the process.

Oh, but what's this? The devs decided to split the character's body into multiple pieces with a jagged line. That breaks my original design idea, but okay, I'll manage.

Oh, and every part has different shading. The upper body is bluish while half of one leg is orange. Wth... I'll manage.

Oh wow, this character also has two different stances with completely different models, animations, textures, splits, and shading. That's cute. How about I just pass out right here for a moment.

Alright, after several long days of work, I'm finally able to post a WIP. Let me check what's happening on my Patreon page...

This update breaks three of my older mods. Maybe it's just a hash issue that can be fixed in a minute.

Welp, no.

I'll open the project and see what's wrong. They changed the bone mappings for her. That's basically a full day of work to fix, and then double-, triple-, and 10x-checking that everything is correct and nothing clips or looks wrong.

Nice, I'm ready to post.

I haven't noticed it for so long. I need to... to... sleep. Omg, it's 5 PM.

And this is what breaks me every time I open my page, comments, or chat. It's not anybody's fault. I want to know when a mod is broken. I just don't want it to happen.

After enough time of this, I look back at my original plans and laugh. I wanted to make mods with different body shapes, multiple editions and versions for people's preferences, transfer mods from one character to another, and sometimes even make animations for them.

Turns out, I'm not built like that ◉_◉

Again, I just want people to understand me: why I disappear for so long, why mods don't get fixed immediately, and why releases are so far apart.

I'm genuinely amazed by other modders - their willpower and the amount of work they put out. I just hope to find my own pace, because I have so many things that were abandoned, and I still really want them to exist.

Maybe one day you'll get to see them, and maybe you'll like them too!
