I was waiting for this episode, it's one of my favorites. Has just the right amount of spookiness, humor, and great characters. I agree with JRabbit, the idea of having 66 seconds makes this even more terrifying. I do have to briefly talk about Clara here. She asks the Doctor if all this adventure is like an addiction. The Doctor say's you don't know it's an addiction until you try to give it up. Then we see just that! Clara is now lying to Danny about travelling with the Doctor because she's addicted to the adventure!! Slippery slope Clara! Frank Skinner is a massive Doctor Who fan. They actually recorded an alternate scene where he agreed to stay on the Tardis and travel with the Doctor. He said he was really really hoping they'd have gone with that scene over him saying no. Frank isn't the only Taskmaster connection. I don't want to give spoilers for taskmaster contestants who have yet to appear on Who, as well as people who have been on Who that are yet to appear on Task Master, so I'll just leave you with this loose connection. Richard Osman (taskmaster S2) is married to Ingrid Oliver who played Petronella Osgood in the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special (she wore a white lab coat, and a long multicolor scarf just like the 4th Doctor used to wear).

I thought this was a great episode, I've always really enjoyed this episode. I'm also glad that Clara is staying, although I do wish she was honest with Danny about that, even if it would be a little difficult and Danny might not fully approve. It's interesting what Clara asked and SeeJay was talking about with these adventures being an addiction. I've actually thought about that a few times with companions in this show, when they say they want to stop traveling with him, but then they end up leaving with the Doctor again. It would be hard to go back to a normal life after the Doctor shows you all these grand adventures even with the danger. But I never really considered the Doctor being addicted as well until Clara asked him, but I guess that would make sense why he just keeps going and going. Great reaction, I'm glad you enjoyed the episode, I look forward to the next one.
