Man this is a tough one. Moreso Tosh, but knowing that Owen has to watch himself slowly decompose is pretty fucked up. When Owen says "give me one good reason" and Tosh says "because you're breaking my heart!" Man that get the tears flowing every time for me. Couple of Doctor Who connections here. The first was from DW series 4 when they had that big Marvel style crossover with all the companions, the team from Sarah Jane Adventures, and the team from Torchwood (think Doctor Donna). In that, Tosh and Owen were absent, because in Whoniverse chronology this episode had already aired. In fact when the Dalek shoots at Torchwood and the bullets don't penetrate, Ianto says something about how Tosh was working on this, he just didn't know she completed it, or something like that. It was basically a spoiler, but thankfully you didn't pick up on it. The other Doctor Who moment was that the actress who plays Tosh was in the first series of Doctor Who. Remember the Slitheen (y'all hated that 2-parter, as most people do) where they faked an alien space ship crash? She was the Doctor who did the autopsy. In this TW episode as they are both dying she talks about how she covered for Owen (he's the Doctor in Torchwood), he says "space pig wasn't it?" In reality they just reused an actor like they've done many a time, but it was fun to have that little "in-cannon" affirmation. I guess onto series 3. This originally aired over 5 nights, Monday through Friday, and was basically a television event. No spoilers, just setting the tone that it's a bit different from S1 and S2.
