I like that in among the drama we get some light comic relief; between Whitaker getting all the bodily fluids on him every episode, the side bet between all the staff on what's going on with the stolen ambulance, to Ginger (old lady who fell) cracking out her best grandma jokes "if you were any more on top of it you'd be back in my womb" 💀

Poor Whitaker. You'd think he'd be wearing a mask or a face shield everywhere he went by now lol. If that was me I'd probably have tried to beg Robby to let me go home early. Dr. King, the doctor with the braid and glasses who helped Whitaker with the artery he accidentally nicked, is a 2nd year resident like Dr. McKay (ankle monitor). There are only two student doctors, Whitaker and Javadi (the really young doctor who keeps side-eyeing Dr. McKay). I really like the recurring cast of regular ER patients like Earl the sandwich guy and Myrna. They make the ER feel more lived in.
