I'm very much hoping we get A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms in for March. What a surprise of a show.

I have zero idea what that is

It’s a 6-episode show based on George RR Martin’s first Dunk and Egg novella. It’s part of the same history and world of Game of Thrones (takes places around 90 years before GOT). Around 30min each episode so very short and easy to finish. I initially didn’t want to watch the show at all as I hated most of Game of Thrones and have zero interest in House of the Dragon. But one of the podcasts I listen to (NADDPOD) raved about it. They said it was a much simpler story with a genuinely good (as in morally good) protagonist to root for. Lighter in tone than GOT or HOTD. That appealed to me because bleak and dark are just too much for me these days. So I tried the first ep and it was just such a pleasure to watch. Like A Knight’s Tale but set in the Game of Thrones universe.

Oh, I always get hate when I say this on FB but middle earth/fantasy things like things aren’t things I personally enjoy. For instance, while I see the merit and deserved acclaim of The Lord of the Rings movies, I didn’t enjoy them when watching them Same with anything after the first three Star Wars movies and I still think that episode IV was the best because it had the least world building

That’s totally fine. We all like different things. I personally like sci-fi and fantasy very much. My favorite genre out of anything — books, shows, movies, games, etc. Though I will say there isn’t really any fantasy element to A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (no dragons, no magic) unless by “fantasy” you just mean any vaguely medieval-ish setting that isn’t our world.
