This episode always breaks my heart 🥺🥺 I was crying watching you cry girl 😩 Such a great episode but wow. This episode really proved to me why I can’t work in a hospital because I’m sure in real life doctors experience way more kids dying from accidents like the poor kid who overdosed because he was trying to take a pill that would keep him up to do his work for school and that baby who drowned saving her sister. I just know doctors got a long therapy bill and rightfully so. Great reaction as always ♥️

very tough episode to get through. I know how difficult it was on you JRabbit, so I won't dig too deep onto it, but I just have to the say that the way Doctor King used the bear was absolutely genius. That little girl will grow up with the memory that she got to say goodbye to her sister, and that her sister heard that message. So touching.

The acting in this show is always excellent but this episode in particular I want to shout out three of them who just impressed the hell out of me. First, the woman who was bitten by a black widow. Her acting was the most genuine pain acting I've ever seen. It was the exact way I was when I had gallstone attacks -- just excruciating abdomen/back pain where you literally can't do anything but cry and moan and you have to fight through that to grit out answers to the doctors. (Incidentally, Javadi's surgeon mom says here that she's just finishing a "lap chole" which is a minimally invasive operation to remove a person's gallbladder. It's the most effective way to stop gallstone attacks.) And of course, the boy's parents. We've watched their entire journey through grief and acceptance for 9 episodes. They were pitch perfect the whole way, especially in these final moments. I also really appreciated the detail in these last few episodes of the camera occasionally panning past the growing crowd of family and friends showing up to support them, including the girl who was initially brought in for the same overdose. They're just shown in the background without any lines which was such a touching and genuine detail.
