I like that the episode ended how it started, with the complicated connecting of the telephone exchange from Margaret to Elizabeth. Nice full circle moment. For me, I actually gasped out loud when Townsend called the Queen "Lillibet" on the plane. A nickname only ever used (at least so far in the show) by her mother, father, husband, and sister. I'm not sure if that happened in real life, but that stood out to me as potentially the moment Elizabeth made the decision to send Townsend away immediately; "he's getting way too comfortable with me, and isn't respecting that this decision is from the Queen, not Margaret's sister!"
