The secret society stuff was incredibly uninteresting I will admit. However, I did like the therapy session scenes, I thought that had some good insight into the characters. Yes, Veronica was being incredibly invasive, it's actually a thing I've struggled with in lots of private investigation shows I've seen, since, as you probably know from my comments, I take therapy seriously, that have shown the investigators audio recording, video recording and stealing therapy session notes and we as the audience are supposed to be fine with it because their trying to solve a murder and murder trumps therapy. But I've always kind of been bothered by that, I'm like you can't be invading peoples therapy sessions but also it is a murder and people can't be murdering so, yeah. The ending was potentially rather dark, but it's not out of nowhere, they have shown issues with the Echolls family throughout the season and the show might be in high school but it hasn't exactly stayed away from dark topics, they've dealt with abuse, rape and the murder of a teenager. I hope you enjoy the next episode more. It's been awhile since I've seen the show, I know it hooked me with the pilot, had some decent episodes, then I remember their was a few episodes I was very uninterested in, this being one of them, then I remember it getting quite good with a decent amount of interesting episodes. But I don't quite remember, how many episodes were not great, I remember quite liking the mid-season finale, like you both seemed to, then having a few I didn't like, so hopefully that few is almost done and you get to the better ones.
