We knew that something happened between Jake Kane and Veronica's mother but we didn't know it also happened on the night of the murder, until now. It would have been nice if Veronica's mom was more honest about anything really, rather than just watching Keith go after a person she knew was innocent because she was his alibi. I don't know if I was to late with my comment for the last episode or it was to long, but I think you saw it because Jrabbit, you mentioned Veronica being 17 and Deputy Leo being 20, which I mentioned in my comment. But yeah, with Leo, people really do like him, myself included, but many people aren't a fan of them dating, myself included. It's weird, he's a deputy, she's a high school student, it's just weird. I thought this was an alright episode, I'm not really a big fan of Veronica's mother, but we do need the answers, not that her mother's all that great at giving answers. This show may have a lot going on, but that's because it's an ensemble show, about the characters and the town of Neptune, it's not really just a procedural, case of the week type show. It has a lot going on for a lot of different characters that develops them and builds them up overtime and a lot of people have their favorites, Wallace, Veronica, Keith, Logan, Meg, Weevil, Deputy Leo, even the lawyer that helps them out occasionally, I feel like of the mains only Duncan is the one that has a limited fan base. They build up a lot of things within the show, like with Veronica in this episode, having trouble with Meg not just because of Duncan, but because she's part of the popular crowd and Wallace now becoming part of the popular crowd, was also bothering her throughout the episode, because the that crowd did a lot to her, shunning her, shutting her out after her best friend was murdered, her father lost his job, her mother left and she was raped, which they mocked her for and made rumors up about her because of, I mean to mock her and laugh at her about being raped is a pretty horrible thing to do. Even Duncan who never said those things to her, still treated her like she didn't exist anymore, ignored it and looked the other way, only Meg was still nice to her. But she is still apart of the crowd who did all that and now Wallace is becoming a part of them as well, but she still went to the game to support him and make him his spirit boxes. Sometimes I agree with you, the show is an older show and does have cheesy and corny dialogue, but sometimes I think your a little hard on the show, even with the bug stuff in this episode, a lot of shows, including modern ones have done the same thing, with people finding and using the bugs in the same way as this show. This is an older show, that was a cult hit, that a lot of writers and directors were a fan of, so some of the cheesy and obvious, feels like we've seen it before stuff, is because you may have seen some of those inspired by Veronica Mars shows first and now your watching this one later. Veronica Mars inspired a lot of shows, like Pretty Little Liars, Riverdale, Wednesday and Jessica Jones. Anyway, I'm going to stop with my comment now, because it's very long, great reaction, I do hope you start to like the show more, that the mystery intrigues you and some of the dialogue and back and forth Veronica has with characters can grow on you a little more. I look forward to the next one.

Real Talk Reactions

Hi Jeremy! Letting you know we absolutely appreciate the comment as always! This one however did run over and too long for us to feature in the episode. If you want to take some of your main points and carry over into the next episode, we'll be happy to try again on that one!
