Since I didn't comment on the last 2 episodes, I just wanted to say, I really liked the giants and I thought Mr. 3 and Miss Goldenweek were entertaining villains , she was creepy. From what I can gather fans of the Anime and Manga liked what she brought to the live action version of the character. I mean from what I was able to see from clips and videos online of Beetlejuice the Musical and watching her perform Dead Mom to many times, I'm not surprised. She was also good in The School for Good and Evil, which I add to the recommendations all the time. I think the show just wanted to show how much working out everyone did between seasons for their characters with all the shirtless and bikini scenes. I thought this was a good episode, I liked seeing how much Sanji cared about Nami, I liked the little bit of background we got on Vivi, showing how good she is at de-escalating conflict, even when she was just a kid and was in a lot of pain getting slapped like that. I also liked the conversation Zoro had with Dalton. I feel like there's a few reasons Luffy didn't use his ability to go up the mountain, he had Nami on his back, because of the snow it was hard to see, so hand placement would have been impossible to figure out from far distances, he couldn't risk falling with her on his back, she's not rubbery, the force as well of flinging himself around, as we've seen in the show before is a lot, but not a problem for him because he is rubbery, but she would be highly effected by it. Also when he stretches and throws himself like that, he usually lands aggressively, as we saw in the episode when he stretched and threw Sanji when they weren't even that far from the top and it broke some of Sanji's ribs. So imagine what would have happened to a very ill Nami. So in order to keep her safe, he chose a slow, careful and painful for him, climb to the top showing how much he cares about her. Which sadly no one noticed because, every reaction I watched mentioned that he should have just used his ability to go straight to the top and that he made it unnecessarily difficult on himself. Anyway, great reaction, I look forward to the next one.
