I thought this was a decent episode, the Nolan stuff was kind of annoying, I did find myself thinking help yourself by shutting up Nolan, several times in the episode. However I will have to disagree about the Bishop part of the episode, it's generally a well liked story, diving into her past, dealing a little bit with her time in the foster system and her brother, the complications it brought up, as well as her choosing to arrest him, when most shows I've seen the story would have been she let's him go. Then her choosing to come clean about it, also something most shows wouldn't have done, they would usually have it hanging over her head for multiple seasons, with other characters blackmailing her about it or something, I thought it was well done for the most part. I know it can seem a little jarring and therefore forced that she suddenly had a brother she never talked about, but she's not someone whose very open or honestly even a little open about her life or past, so it's not that surprising to learn there's things we don't know about her. As for Jackson's dad, based on his earlier very strong reaction, I feel like it might be true about him planting the gun, but there's really no way to prove it either way, so I don't think it's so much about if he's going to jail but more about how it will affect Jackson and his relationship with his father. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.
