“He’s smart.” “He’s an annoying brat.” LMAO. Two very accurate descriptions for Hal. He’s so fun to watch even though it’s a little weird to see Kyle Chandler play a character with an almost opposite personality to Coach Taylor, especially when all the small town football stuff keeps making me think of Friday Night Lights. I’ve been enjoying this show a lot. The mystery elements and the great chemistry between Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre have me hooked. I knew nothing about Green Lantern lore (other than Sinestro from the Ryan Reynolds movie) but I think the show has done a fairly good job of sprinkling it in without being overwhelming. I do wish this show had more budget so they don’t have to be so sparing when it comes to the Green Lantern constructs. But that’s a minor complaint for me. Maybe with the success of this show we might see a Green Lantern movie in the future and they can go crazy then without looking corny like in Ryan Reynolds’ movie.
