I like when Zoey says "hooking up with Leif, is like kissing a Slytherin" Jrabbit's just nodding her head. Yep, everyone processes grief and stress differently, Zoey went into full shutdown mode, but of course her powers won't let her do that, so prepare for an awkward ride. The way I think about the love triangle, side note I'm not a fan, I don't really think Zoey's terrible like a lot of people do, although I do get frustrated, nor do I hate Simon like some people, aside from the whole your engaged dude, don't be kissing someone else, but as I was saying the way I see it, is she loves Max, actual love, built up overtime, hence the song she sang to him, which was definitely a love song, so she's terrified of losing him from her life, so she's running away from her feelings and avoiding them as much as possible, like she tends to do with all her difficult feelings. Simon on the other hand is all attraction, sure with a little bit of they can connect about their fathers, but it's mostly just attraction, hence her being able to admit that a little more, talk out loud about it more, with Simon, Mo, her mother, because there's nothing to lose there if things go wrong with them. Anyway great reaction, I liked this episode, I like the addition of Howie, I like that their building up the people a the office a lot more, it's making the show click and both elements of Zoey's work life and home life work together better. I look forward to the next one.
