The System Apocalypse is getting a makeover!

The new covers for Books 1–3 launched last year in eBook, and the remaining covers are finally here! Our designer is putting the finishing touches on the typography now, and the full new collection will be launching in July across eBook, audiobook, paperback, and hardcover.

I thought the original covers were perfectly fine, but the new paintings are truly fantastic! Tons of detail and action, very cool. Honestly, the tendency for Amazon/Kindle to update book covers without notification or consent annoys the f*ck out of me. Don't get me wrong, your new covers look great! But far more often the cover update takes some great looking piece of art and replaces it with whatever actor's head who plays the main character in their new series (ex: The Murderbot Diaries and The Martian.) Or, it takes great genre art pieces and replaces them with some god-awful, minimalist "modern" cover art (Examples- Anne Leckie's Ancillary series or Lois McMaster Bujolds Vorkosigan Saga.)
