I'm not sure if this is on purpose, but I'm on the advanced tier which says I get the latest published book, but book funnel isn't accepting my patreon, is it delayed for now so that higher tier patrons get it sooner?

Tao Wong

Nope. You should get it already. When did you join, if you don't mind me asking? It might need to refresh. If it's still giving trouble, I'll go poke at the backend.

Tao Wong

Okay, it's checking against your Patreon e-mail. Are you using the correct one by any chance or changed it recently?

Warior1411

didn't change it, also I joined in the first day of this month

question with spoilers Ok so I have binged this, really enjoyed it but there's one thing that's probably not even that important that's bothering me, whe Wu Ying goes to the chamber in the second sect they say dragons rarely have metal, then in chapter 11 Wu Ying says his body alignment has "also metal and earth in large amounts", but just a bit after that in the same paragraph he says "Not much metal at all.", finally when Wu Ying gets his revelation he sends metal chi to his bones. So does he have metal in large amounts or not and if yes why? I can't see why a dragon bloodline would have metal chi.

Tao Wong

Ah, so, let's tackle the dragons first. This is more Chinese traditional lore which basically equate dragons to water / sky / the seas. Very few discussions of earth dragons that I've come across, and obviously; if they are naturally water, they are in opposition to metal. The Phoenix on the other hand would more likely be fire, metal, etc aspected (thoughw e haven't come across that creature yet). For the one about Wu Ying using excess metal chi - he's strenghtening his body by bits. He doesn't have a lot, but he's utilising what he has better I guess. Part of cultivating is drawing in more energy, in this case, metal chi - and then either discarding or utilising it. In this case, he's learning to utilise it better than just discarding it. But most humans can't carry too much metal in their body unless they're aspected towards it
