Yeah, I'm a little sick again, after coming back from 20books. Hacking up a lung with disgusting phlegm.

Because of that, I've pushed back release date to March 1, 2022. I really feel like I should have set it a year back, then just yank it forward. I should, hopefully, manage to hit the deadline for my editing; but that's no guarantee what with being sick and my con.

Oh yeah, I got Discon III in December this year. I'll be on a bunch of online panels and a couple of in-person ones, so we'll see how it plays out. I'm looking forward to it (though not more Covid tests) since I get to talk to new people, meet some new authors and maybe even some new fans.

I haven't signed up for any readings, though maybe I should one day. *sighs* One day, maybe I'll figure something like that out, but I don't really have much confidence in areas like that. There's a reason why I was the Darth Bear for ages.

I am thinking, after I finally submit SA 12, I might take a week or two off. Just time to chill rather than writing or doing other things. Not at burnout (though being sick and working is not fun); but I do think rest might be good.

Doing all these cons and playing extrovert has been rather exhausting really. I also want to slowly work through what my next book series will be. A part of me wants to work on the big fantasy series I've been considering and the other is playing with this idea of mine that is more scifi. I'm a little worried about the potential income from the scifi one, but... I have a bit of leeway since ATL is still doing well.

Ah well... we shall see what happens. Next year should be interesting with SA (main) ending.

Based on the Sci-fi elements of SA I think you'd do great with a pure Sci-fi. There aren't enough Sci-fi LitRPG books in my opinion. I count SA as mostly Sci-fi. Maybe a Sci-fi dungeon core story would be good. I've only listened to one but it was good (spaceship as dungeon). Or if you want to break from LitRPG an AI story is always welcome in my collection.

I enjoy fantasy and space opera and hard core scifi. Guess that means that I will read and most likely enjoy whichever you chose to write.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... Mana first happened. And the universe was never the same. That would be one epic story... And could be told from a more technological perspective. A desperate effort by the local galactic government was the last hope to save everyone’s lives from the recently discovered lethal anomaly they were calling Mana (which itself was the unexpected result from a failed physics experiment?), and the only solution they could come up with, despite this project's massive budget from the coalition's 24 inhabited worlds, to deal with this Mana was an unorthodox one: the System. Well, just my 2 cents... I love everything you write, and will read whatever comes next!
