I had my eye exam this morning. Great news! They let me keep my eyes! I was very relieved.

I discovered that my prescription was out of date in more ways than one. Sadly, it appears that I have reached that juncture in life when one pair of glasses just won't get the job done. I need one pair for everyday use and another for computer work and reading. Lucky me. I'm pretty sure this means that I am officially old.

I also get to wait around for 2 weeks before my new glasses arrive. So, good times. That basically means I just need to do everything I can to limit my eye strain in the meantime. However, since it's still yesterday for me, my immediate game plan is to get at least a few hours of sleep. Hopefully, after I get up, I'll be able to look at a screen for long enough to do some writing. Fingers crossed!

Green light is the least straining. Hence the old accountants wearing those green visors.

Keeping your eyes is always a good thing! And you're not old. Yet. Old doesn't happen till 45. That's when you can can run for president!
