Now that we've seen Rowena in a flashback, is there a chance of seeing her younger self go a few rounds?

While im liking the story direction now the dialogue does feel a bit like 'in your face exposition'. Feels 'gamified' even, like Rowena is playing a barbarian with rage attacks and is having that explained through obvious dialogue. Just some minor critiques though, been enjoying most of the comic :D

It does come off as pedantic, but kids can come off that way, especially when they nerd out over something. So, I think there is context given her friend's expressions. Using a flashback while she's unconscious instead of exposition, I think makes it more palatable. The reader gets a hint about Rowena's past while learning information pertinent to the scene without the character directly telling you.

Also, the berserker thing was foreshadowed back in p20 when Rowena surprises Xanon with superhuman strength, and Xanon notes its a barbarian thing. So, there is a lead in and reveal instead of just a random info dump.

I was aiming more to explain why Rowena doesn’t simply go into rage mode on a whim. I figured at this point people would wonder why she didn’t just go berserk earlier and this was an attempt to clear that up and emphasize that she’s a fighter who prefers to remain clear minded in a fight.

Haha no I meant sex scenes. Rowena with a different body type and younger personality, just to mix things up once in a while.

Ah, honestly I thought it was the opposite, she seemed to focus mainly on raw strength and combat prowess with the tentacle monster and Xanon rather than tactics. Is it just a preference in style then? Not 'Mad with rage strength' but 'raw strength and skill'? As it seems in this case going berserk would only improve her fighting ability, and may have won her the fight in the first place. Hope I don't come off as too cynical, I wouldn't be giving feed back if I didn't enjoy the comic. :D

Oh I can't really tell with drawings most times. I wasn't implying you should do THAT lol. Mainly just a difference in body type and how she approaches sex, so there's a neat contrast even if it's only between 18 and 20-something years old. Basically from the beginning of her adventuring until now, since sex seems to be a constant feature of her quests lol.

Oh okay haha. Yeah she pretty much looks the same from age 18 and up and is in her mid to late twenties in the comic.

You're good Legas, it's just a discussion! :) She relies less on going "hulk mode" (unlike her friend Koryander) and focuses more on using her fighting skills in combination with her natural strength. I see Barbarians as being stronger than a normal human but not like she's lifting boulders and hurling them like Hercules. Maybe when she's in rage mode she can do that but with the down side that going berserk is short lived and makes it difficult for them to not be consumed by their anger. God, I'm so bad with lore stuff ahahah. Where the heck is Azaketh when I need him to explain things?! XD
