Looking forward to the finished piece, and I agree with nightglider. The little fourth wall break with rowena's boobs hanging out of the comic panel is hilarious. Are we going to see more stuff like that?

Haha, of course everyone's comments are about her boobs, so my comment won't seem so clever. I was gonna be all "Rowena's Boobs- Mightier than any mere comic panel" or something.

Yes, they are so epic they break the fourth wall and need no speech bubbles in their own panel. Her 'wtf' look is also hilarious, nearly as good as her twigs-in-hair grumpy squint on page 3. Pure comedy gold :) Honestly, though, I'm stunned by Rowena in the very first panel: the supremely confident pose, the killer abs, the raised chin, the way we're left to imagine the smoky look in her eyes... she really owns the whole tavern, right there by herself. I can't wait to hear what she has to say that's making the kid blush so hard.

The fourth wall is that guy at the back of every party thinking, 'Man I wish I was cool enough to be third wheel'. You know the one; there's always one. Or maybe that's just all the parties I've been to, which I'm sure means nothing. At. All. Rupert - You're right of course, I guess I did use it inappropriately, Rowena isn't looking at the reader or talking to them, but she is breaking suspension of disbelief at least. It reminds me of walking off set while on camera and showing the props and background for what they are. I guess it's... meta-theatre? Meta-graphic novel? Please do tell if there's a more accurate term, I'd love to know :)
