Team α Aqua - Corrupted Primal May (Patreon)

After the incident involving the Blue Orb and Primal Kyogre’s previous rampage, Team Aqua fell into disarray. With their Admin Matt got arrested and their Leader Archie mysteriously vanishing, only Shelly remained as the last standing Team Aqua Admin. Therefore, many grunts deserted the organization, and Team Aqua stood on the brink of disbandment

The Blue Orb ended in May's (ハルカ Haruka) hand after all those incidents, thus she's decided to returned it to the summit of Mt. Pyre, where it originally belongs before Team Aqua managed to steal it. Unbeknownst to her, the orb still contain an immense yet mysterious nature energy, capable of corrupting the holder, just as it had once overwhelmed Kyogre, and also Archie, in which transformed them into a primal version but berserk, yet uncontrollable state

As time passed on her journey, May began to feel the orb’s growing influence. When she finally arrived at the summit of Mt. Pyre, the orb captivated her with haunting visions. From the mountain's peak, it revealed scenes of humanity’s devastation, cities sprawling over and destroyed the nature, human waste polluted the waters killing marine life, and the world started spiraling into ecological collapse

Eventually, May was slowly succumbed to the orb's corrupted power. Somehow driven by a desire to correct these injustices, she then resolved to return to the Cave of Origin once again. Along the way near the Sootopolis city, she encountered Shelly once more, who then confirmed that Team Aqua had indeed disbanded for good. Yet May — now consumed by the Blue Orb power — managed to convince Shelly to follow her into the cave

In the deepest part of the cave, they encountered Kyogre once again. As May raised the Blue Orb in front of her, it suddenly emitted a brilliant light and absorbed itself into May's body, merging its power with her. In response, Kyogre also transformed into its Primal form, entering a frenzied, berserk state, followed by heavy rain and thunderstorm over the Sootopolis city. What followed was a ferocious battle between May and the raging legendary Pokemon

May called upon her Swampert and immediately transformed it into Mega version using her Swampertite keystone on her bracelet. The power of the Blue Orb and Kyogre's Primordial Sea ability also further amplifying her team water-type abilities beyond their limits. Despite being heavily outmatched at times, May and her Pokemon managed to pressed on, gradually wearing Kyogre down over time

Eventually, through sheer will and connection, May was able to calm Kyogre down and gain control over its power, ultimately capturing it and bringing the battle to an end

Witnessing this incredible feat, Shelly was left in awe. She came to recognize May’s strength and resolve, and a growing sense of respect and acknowledgement began to form within her

After the battle, still deep within the area, they also discovered Archie’s mega anchor necklace ornament — the emblem of Team Aqua’s previous leader. May took it and gave the Sharpedonite on it to Shelly, and inserted her own Swampertite keystone into the anchor, and then decided to wear it for herself

With Kyogre now under her control and the Blue Orb fully merging with herself. May had awakened a formidable new power. She could now amplify the strength of all water-type Pokemon she chose and manipulate the weather and sea itself, much like Kyogre's ability. In which, whenever she invoked that power, a strange mark resembling the markings found on Primal Kyogre also appeared on her body. Eventually she — now merged with the consciousness of the Blue Orb — set out to reshape the world with her newfound power

Standing beside her, Shelly accepted her role in this new vision. Together, they decided to revived her previous team, renamed it "Team α Aqua", which now under May's leadership, whom also referred themselves as “The Guardian of the Primordial Sea”. With the power of Primal Kyogre, the legendary artifact Blue Orb, and also the combined power of both water and aquatic (associated with water/sea but are not Water-type) Pokemon on their side, they prepared to bring forth a great storm, towards new era — where the oceans would reclaim the world

...Behind her, a mysterious shadow glided across the storm-darkened sky, amidst the raging seas and beckoning thunderstorms...

P.S. Due to random ideas and since I also want to featured May in May (no pun intended) I've managed to come with this piece. Probably will be another different, alternate scenarios of the previous Team Rocket corruption, in which this one will featured only some person related to water-type, or rather a water-specialist, across the entire series. Honestly, Team Aqua in ORAS has really interesting outfit and theme, and its already in my favorite lists, alongside some of villain teams like Team Rocket, Galactic, Plasma and Flare
