Since I will be increasing the production of images, the total size of our galleries will also grow. This means the overall file weight in GB will become larger over time. Because of this, I’m considering changing the image format: currently everything is in PNG, but I may switch to JPG.

If I make this change, both current and future galleries would weigh significantly less — potentially reducing their size by up to 90%, making them only a few kilobytes (KB) instead of megabytes (MB).

So I’m leaving the decision in your hands:

Would you prefer that the galleries remain in PNG, with higher quality but larger file sizes, or should I switch to JPG from now on, so the galleries take up much less storage space on your PC?

Debido a que incrementaré la producción de imágenes, el tamaño de nuestras galerías también aumentará. Esto significa que el peso total en GB será cada vez mayor. Por este motivo, estoy considerando cambiar el formato de las imágenes: actualmente son PNG, pero podría pasarlas a JPG.
