When i spawn it in, how do i get the create controller/how do i make it in a new world that isnt pre made?

Do i need to user Neo Forge? or can i use basic forge? whats teh base mc version required can i go lower to 1.20.1? also what are the only mods needed to make this work? i would like to cut out teh extra

I’m planning to purchase the subscription specifically for this, does this build require any mods outside of the basic create and create aeronautics? And is the material count reasonable enough for survival.
