Hello everyone!

Today I finally bring you a new design: Flexi Dino Spinosaurus. It is a caricaturization of one of the most popular dinosaurs from the Cretaceous period.

The Spinosaurus lived about 100 million years ago, during the Cretaceous. It is distinguished by the sail on its back and its semi-aquatic lifestyle, hunting both on land and in water. With a length of up to 15 meters, it is one of the most impressive predators of its time.

This design features simple assembly without the need for glue, is fully articulated, and can be easily printed without any supports. It includes a simple and brief assembly tutorial.

Additionally, we have included 3MF files for color printing.

Before printing, please check the "3D Printing Parameters" file included in the download.

I hope you enjoy the Flexi Dino Spinosaurus as much as I enjoyed creating it. Thank you for your support!

im having a hard time printing this where the arms go it doesnt print to the bed the little horseshoe parts

OriginalToys3D

Hello, If you're having trouble printing the horseshoes or pivots for the arms, try using the brim function on your slicer and ensure good bed adhesion. If you're trying to reduce the design size, the minimum printable size is 50% of its original scale. If this doesn't solve your problem, comment again and we'll do what it takes to resolve it.

I got it I just lowered the print down one layer so the first layer is technically layer 2 working good so far thank you for replying!

OriginalToys3D

I'm glad you resolved it. Thank you for reporting the issue. I will be reviewing the design. If you have any other questions or problems, I am at your disposal.

Hey I just got done Printing 2 spinos in Silk Pla (one was 10% infill and 2 walls and the other one was 15% infill and 3 walls ) and they look amazing but the neck joint keeps breaking, one side of the lower jaw breaks (where it connects to the neck and the arms tend to break when placing them on, the one thing I would recommend if you switch the ball joint for the neck like how the Carnotaurus is and if possible have it how it prints out like how the Carnotaurus does having the body all in one piece, but I still have hope and I will print the spino with pla + and see how it comes out, love your work tho all models are amazing keep up the good work!!

Hello, Thank you very much for sharing your experience. I have also had similar problems with other designs using some brittle or poor-quality filaments. I recommend trying other brands and using PLA+. Make sure the filament does not get damp, as moisture can cause bubbles between the print layers, weakening the structure of the model. I look forward to hearing about the results with PLA+. If the problem persists, I would appreciate it if you let me know. This way, we can make design improvements to address this issue. On the other hand, the change in the joint design was made to improve aesthetics, avoiding the interior part of the model being flat. Currently, there is a model in an advanced design stage that uses these joint mechanisms. We will take your suggestions into account to improve it. Thank you again for sharing your experience, which will help us continue to improve our designs.

This Spino printed well - but the circle on the body where the neck fits could be stronger? - Mine also broke at the base on one side, looking forward to update- many thanks - your designs are great.

Jayne Herdman

will you be able to update the neck joint - so it doesn't break when attaching the head piece? Many thanks

OriginalToys3D

At this moment, the joints of the design are being improved to solve all the mentioned issues. Thank you for your comment. It will be updated very soon.

Thank you so much - your dinosaurs are amazing to print - the update will make them even better
