Thanks so much! Everybody loves your Dino's.

Hello, what is the difference from the previous designs of this same models?

OriginalToys3D

Hello! 😊 In summary, regarding the previous T-Rex model: 1. Two new versions have been added: A 3MF version. A simplified version, designed to print in a single material without the need to glue pieces. 2. In the assembled-by-parts version (equivalent to the previous version of the model): Connectors have been added to the claws of the legs. The lower jaw has been modified, now including teeth separated from the jaw as well as the tongue, allowing you to print the lower teeth in a different color if desired. Regarding the Mosasaurus, Giganotosaurus, and Velociraptor models: A new simplified version has been added, similar to the T-Rex, designed to print in a single material without the need to glue pieces. A connector has been added to the bottom of the model, eliminating the need for glue during assembly. All of these models have been updated to meet the standards of my latest Dilophosaurus design. Additionally, in the section “Folder structure when extracting the ZIP file”, you can check the model’s folder structure, which will help you navigate the versions and folders available for each model. For more details about these updates, you can check the “What’s New:” section of each post: T-Rex: https://www.patreon.com/posts/articulated-t-141624928 Mosasaurus: https://www.patreon.com/posts/articulated-141624792 Giganotosaurus: https://www.patreon.com/posts/articulated-141624622 Velociraptor: https://www.patreon.com/posts/articulated-141624287

Hell RZR

Hi, can you please help me? I hit download all but all that downloaded were the PDF's, nothing else..its probably me, but im just not finding the print files

OriginalToys3D

Hi, open the PDF files. Inside, you’ll see an image of the model you’re going to get, and right below it there is a text that says “Model File.” You must click on the text “Model File.” When you do, a ZIP file will start downloading. That ZIP contains all the folders with the STL and 3MF files, as well as the assembly tutorial video.

Hell RZR

Oh my goodness, I told you it was ME lol! Thank you! While I have you here, I'm printing the spinosaurus and thankfully I have three printers working on it so its going pretty fast. Is there a reason you put each individual piece on its own separate file instead of lumping some of the same colors together on the same plate? Not a criticism at all, just genuinely curious!

OriginalToys3D

Hi, I’ve sent you a private message with instructions on how to access the older models.

OriginalToys3D

Hi! Thanks for the comment. I’m currently expanding my print-in-place articulated models. The Indoraptor is planned for later.

Diana Jengibre

Aaron

Hi, is there a way to download without the pdf process? It's difficult for me to organize. Thanks!

OriginalToys3D

Hi, the PDF is used to keep the model in a lighter format on your device and to help you stay organized, as it works as a reference for the ZIP files without needing to download them all or take up too much space on your device. In addition, the PDFs are always active and available, and I use this method because Patreon has limited storage and does not allow uploading such large ZIP files.

Hi, I signed up for the license to sell, but I can't find the 3MF files or the older templates. Can you help me?

OriginalToys3D

Hi, Thank you very much for subscribing To obtain the files, first download the PDF. Then open it; inside you will see an image of the model and below it a text that says “model file”. Click on that text and the download of a ZIP file will start. Unzip the file and you will find the main folder. Inside, there will be four folders: Files for printing (3MF) Files for printing and assembling (STL) Files for quick, glue-free printing and assembly (STL) Video tutorial In your case, the files you are looking for are inside the “Files for printing (3MF)” folder. I will send you a guide by private message on how to obtain the older models that are no longer available on Patreon.

my 8 year old suggested a sabertooth cat :)

OriginalToys3D

I love that idea! 😄 Actually, I’ve been planning to make a sabertooth tiger and a mammoth for a while now, so I’ll try to make them soon.

First of all, thank you for your amazing designs. It's a pleasure to be one of your subscribers. I have a question and a small suggestion regarding some of the models. I noticed that a few of them include very small supports on the bottom of certain parts. For reference, I've attached this screenshot showing exactly what I mean: https://prnt.sc/WI8Ce2D2ecgJ My concern is whether these supports could affect the compatibility or fit of the parts when the models are resized. Since the supports appear to be calculated slightly wider than the original part itself, I'm wondering if they could cause dimensional issues after scaling. I also wanted to ask whether these minimal supports are truly necessary. If they aren't essential, would it be possible to remove them from the models? I believe this would make resizing and printing a bit more reliable.

OriginalToys3D

Hi! Thank you very much for your kind words! I'm really glad you're enjoying my designs. Regarding your question, don't worry—the small supports will not affect the fit of the parts. They are always placed on the outside surface of the part, never on the mating surfaces or any area where the parts fit together. If you print the model at a much larger scale, I recommend removing the support attachment points with a pair of flush cutters. This will give you a much cleaner result and help avoid leaving small marks where the supports were attached. I hope this answers your question! If you have any other questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to ask.

User205169

I was wondering if it would be possible to add those pieces without the built-in supports. Even when I carefully remove them with flush cutters, they still leave visible marks https://prnt.sc/sxuN3Cna60Nz around the parts, which affects the final appearance and requires additional cleanup. Would it be possible to provide those parts without the supports, or perhaps make them optional? I would really appreciate your thoughts. Thank you!

OriginalToys3D

I completely understand the issue. I'll be updating that model soon to remove those built-in supports, and I'll let you know once it's done.

J Hinz

are you going to make the scorpius rex? I love your dinosaur models btw, keep up the fantastic work!

User205169

You are awsomeee. I hope this solution would help all of your subscribers.

User205169

I also wanted to suggest one more small improvement that I think could help preserve the original shape of the figures. I noticed that on your Pteranodon Articulated design, you used a small circular alignment peg to connect the main body to the other body piece. I think that's a great solution, especially for those of us who glue the parts together after printing. It helps center both pieces perfectly, keeps everything aligned, and preserves the original shape of the model. Would you consider applying this same solution to the rest of the dinosaur models? I believe it would not only make assembly easier but also help maintain the accuracy and originality of the finished figure. Sorry if I tend to leave a lot of comments! I genuinely love your designs, and I'm only sharing these suggestions because I want to provide the best feedback I can. Thank you for all the amazing work you do!

All the models are great; how can I access the older ones? Thanks in advance!

Olá, onde posso baixar o Triceratops?

Kaue Corleto

Hi, where can I download Triceratops?

OriginalToys3D

Hi, I’ve sent you a guide on how to access the older models through a private message.

Will O.

where do I download the latest 16 released models and welcome pack?

OriginalToys3D

How to access the Welcome Pack and Warehouse Every time a new model is published on Patreon, you will find two types of posts: 👀 Sneak Peek → to preview the new model. 🚀 Early Access → this is where you can access the model. In the Early Access posts, at the end of the description, you will find an interactive text link. Clicking on it will take you directly to where the model is stored, either the 🎁 Welcome Pack or the 🏭 Warehouse. You can also access these posts directly using the following links: 🎁 Welcome Pack – Welcome Pack Link: https://www.patreon.com/OriginalToys3D/posts/welcome-pack-141622119 🏭 Warehouse – Latest Published Models Link: https://www.patreon.com/OriginalToys3D/posts/warehouse-101977538 📄 Models in PDF format Some models, especially dinosaur models, are provided as PDF files because their files are too large to upload directly to Patreon. ⬇️ How to download a model from the PDF 1. Download the PDF to your PC or mobile device and open it. 2. Inside the PDF, you will find an image of the model you want to download. 3. Below the image, you will find an interactive text link that says >>>Model File<<<. 4. Click on >>>Model File<<< and you will be directed to the .ZIP file download. 5. Download the ZIP file and extract it to access all the model's folders and files. Dinosaur models generally include: 3MF → for multicolor printing. STL for Assembly → separate pieces for assembly. Glue-Free STL → designed to be assembled without glue. You will also find a Printing Parameters file with information about the different versions, folder contents, and the minimum recommended size for printing the model.
