In this anthology horror film, three sinister tales of terror unfold, each more unsettling than the last. A young boy, held captive by a modern-day witch with plans to cook and eat him, stalls for time by reading her stories from a mysterious book. The first tale, "Lot 249," adapts an Arthur Conan Doyle classic about an ancient Egyptian mummy brought back to life for revenge. The second story, "Cat from Hell," features a seemingly immortal feline on a mission of vengeance against a cruel millionaire. Finally, "Lover’s Vow" tells the tragic and chilling tale of an artist whose life takes a horrifying turn after a chance encounter with a gargoyle. As the boy's storytelling nears its end, so does his fate—leaving audiences to wonder if there’s any escape from the darkness.
