Lukestria Family v0.4 progress (Patreon)

In this update, I'm focusing on relationship events with the girls, deepening their stories as you progress through their routes. Keep in mind that Lukestria Family is not a Pokémon-style game: "gotta catch 'em all." You must choose the girls you like the most, there’s no way to romance all of them in a single playthrough.

The events are progressing well in development, with Isa’s route almost complete. I'm still considering whether to allow you ask the girls to be your girlfriend as soon as you complete their route or to push that moment further into the story.

Each girl has a different personality, different problems, and different desires, which may lead to conflicts of interest with other girls. Keep that in mind. But a man’s life isn't just about romance. There are also side women who are open to just having some fun, if you’re willing.

So far, we have three events completed with Meana, one event (her last) done for Janny, one event with Isa, and a new stage to explore, the Biker Elimination event, which has two variations, depending on the choices you've made.

I’ve also fixed some minor bugs and details, like the character name not appearing during a dialogue and a sentence getting cut off at the text box limit. I also corrected some logic errors in your choices, where you knew things you shouldn’t or had conversations about things that wouldn’t have happened based on your previous decisions. Now, everything is properly linked.

I must confess that what got me into making a VN was Pokémon Academy Life Forever. It’s a very well-made and completely free game. However, making a VN is harder than I expected. It goes far beyond just putting an image on the screen and slapping text on top. Creating Lukestria Family has been a valuable learning experience for me, and once I finish this game, the knowledge I’ve gained will undoubtedly help me create even better games and interactive stories in the future.
