They already got along but i feel like more than for the boys it was for the fans who still were (and some are) with a competitive mindset. It takes quite some time for fans of groups that come from survival shows to function like a proper fandom and this helped a lot. Me personally I got to know more about members I hadn't really got to appreciate bc i was so focused on voting for my fav.
