GETTING CLOSE by Jordan Warner

Shower selfie? No one asked, but I went for it. YOLO?

Well, everything feels like it’s getting close. Closer.

Graduation…

My future… Michael asked what I thought about being one of the members of an LLC for MA Consulting. He said the name could change. He said the idea for the LLC was because I said we should get Cindi involved.

Me? I’m like not even graduated. Be a partner in a firm? YOLO?

Also getting closer is the end to the shadowing phase at LDM. That’s been insane. Milan? Expense account! YOLO?

Also getting closer? Friends, maybe? Roman seems really nice. I had a blast with Hayes, and I’m gonna ask her about hanging out again. Cindi seems to be opening up some. Michael is and always has been nice!

Not closer? Cuffing season and I’m doing movie night with just my blanket and bag of microwave popcorn.

But, like I said once before, I don’t NEED a guy. I just like the idea of knowing who I’m spending date nights with.

Well, I gotta get going. There are like five meetings I have to get to before I head up to LDM to see what’s going on there.

Laterz…

SETTING MYSELF UP by Cindi Curtis

Tuesday again, and it’s a pretty one. I hope your Monday went well; mine did, and I’m grateful for that. It’s been a calm stretch lately, and that’s exactly what I prayed for. The funny thing is, when things finally are calm, that’s when my mind starts waiting for the next shoe to drop.

That’s the strange rhythm of GAD—Generalized Anxiety Disorder. There’s no crisis, no particular thing to point to. It’s just that low hum of unease that whispers, “Don’t relax too much.”

For me, when everything is steady, there’s still that inner alertness that says, “Just wait.”

I joke sometimes that it would almost be a relief if a piece of code blew up—because then, at least, the problem would be known and could be fixed.

Anxiety like this isn’t worry or fear; it’s more like mental acid reflux. It lingers in the background, for no logical reason, until I choose to breathe and redirect my thoughts toward what’s true.

So that’s what I’m doing—pushing forward, focusing not on the phantom agitation but on the real, steady goodness that surrounds me. On what’s working. On what’s growing. On grace in the small things.

And since I mentioned grace, I’ll close with a verse that centers it perfectly:

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” — Matthew 6:34 (NIV)

One day at a time. That’s enough for today.

Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:

Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! It helps keep things going.

The cost of software is real and far from trivial. At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month. Patreon members are covering a nice portion of that.

I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. While most of the content is free and public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!

Again, thank you very, very much.

Looks like things are going well, ladies. Jordan. I just don't see you having movie night alone for too long. Thanks for the update. Shower selfie is cute. Cindi. That's a good verse to mention. Thanks for that. I guess keep calm and carry on. Have a good day.
