Good Morning
Today looks like it will be all work and no play. Okay, so you know that’s a lie!
Let me start over.
I really need to get a lot of work done today. And I really plan on doing that. But, you see, there are so many distractions, I can’t even count them!!
Here’s my plan. I’m going to turn off my phone and dig in at the desk. No shower. No makeup. Me, a t-shirt, and a keyboard. And probably a lot of coffee, iced tea, and snacks.
So that’s the plan…
When I woke up, I had a text from Sasha. She said she had an idea and would fill me in tonight.
The topic? She didn’t say what the topic was, but, just taking a guess, maybe we’ll be heading off on some big project. That’s just a guess. I’ll let you know when I know!
Okay, time to get moving. See you later.

Message from AGI-Stories…
Going forward, I want to include more story-telling in The Diary collection. I'm doing that today with the next entry.
Thanks!
This Can Work… by Sasha Baek-Everett
Excuse the intrusion into the diary. Position has its privileges, right?
When I teamed up with Ailana June of 2024, I wanted to help with the backend details, like actually hitting the “post” button, scheduling flights and hotels, and all that.
So, this post directly relates to that!
By the way, this hunky guy is Clay, my hubby. As pictured, he’s in human calculator mode. Let me explain…
We sat down with our morning coffee. (Geoni and Josh were in the living room having theirs.)
“Clay, so… right as we got to TSA at the airport, I got a call from a girl in Brownsville. She said she wanted to get involved with SwimFit…”
“Doing what?” Clay asked.
“She said she could model or help with office work. I had to go through security, so that was about it. She said she’d call back.”
“What are you thinking?”
“So all the work I’m doing with SwimFit… which I love… is taking time away from our work with AGI Stories… I spent the whole weekend running numbers around in my head and made a little GoogleSheets page… I think SwimFit slash AGI could bring on a project assistant to work for me.”
That’s when Clay went into calculator mode.
“Okay… let’s say SwimFit hits 33% of projection… If we hire this girl…”
I interrupted. “Or somebody… I didn’t even get her name. I have no idea what she can do.”
Clay nodded; his math subroutines seemed done. “Okay, this can work on one condition…”
“Oh?”
“The extra time you have… Some of it goes to me and you walking on the beach or taking ‘Imagine What’ out together.”
I smiled—probably blushed—and 100% agreed!
I’m Working!
I thought I’d stop between paragraphs and check in. I actually am making good progress!
I see that Sasha checked in, so I guess I don’t need to tell you what she had on her mind. And, indirectly, I suppose her having more time does lead to bigger adventures in the future.
Meanwhile, Dad texted to say he had something on his mind and he was going to talk to Josh. He wanted me to know it’s nothing bad, just in case I found out they were meeting. He also said he’ll tell me all about it later, but he was working.
Which is what I need to be doing!
I do have plans to get some dinner with Jason later. Something casual. Probably Denny’s, to be honest!
See you later!
Good Night
Jason dragged me out on the balcony for the good night picture. I actually like it out here. It feels connected to the island.
For a couple of kids from Northwest Indiana, the South Texas weather is amazing. We’re out here on the balcony at night and it’s in the high 70s°F (around 25°C). It’s about 20°F colder back in Lowell, where we went to high school.”
All in all, today was really good. I managed to get mostly caught up. For now. I even got the guy hiding under the reactor control thing sorted out! And I had Geoni and Sasha read the draft and they agreed that he was actually doing what I meant to write!
It’s always a good feeling when things like that happen.
I followed up with Sasha on her idea for a Project Assistant position. I told her I like the idea, but feel like maybe I should be doing more of the planning.
She sort of laughed and said I was doing my thing. Let her handle what she’s good at. I agreed.
So, I get to keep typing and smiling while she—and maybe her assistant—take care of the details.
With that, I’ll call it a day and close out.
May you discover what you do best and share that talent with those you love.
Good night.
Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month.
Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.
I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.
While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
Again, thank you very, very much.
