TUESDAY MORNING by Cindi Curtis
Good morning! I hope your week’s off to a steady, peaceful start. Mine’s been full already, but in a good way. Work is flowing smoothly, my meetings are lined up, and I’m trying to stay in that calm middle zone between ambition and overwhelm. Some days that balance feels like a moving target, but today, it’s holding steady.
It’s also World of Warcraft server reset day, which means Michael, Jordan, and I will log in later to see what rewards we earned from last week’s delves. It’s funny how it’s become part of our rhythm—no longer about the newness or the adrenaline, but about the comfort of shared time. There’s something grounding in that—building routines with people you care about, whether they’re across the country or right down the hall.
This week’s living green tip is about laundry: switch to plant-based or fragrance-free detergents. Many commercial detergents contain phosphates, optical brighteners, and synthetic fragrances that don’t fully break down in water, eventually entering rivers and lakes where they harm aquatic ecosystems. Choosing biodegradable, phosphate-free products helps protect those waterways—and every load makes a difference.
Today’s verse comes from Romans 12:21—“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
That applies not only to the big, world-shifting struggles, but also the quiet ones—the little tests of patience, honesty, and kindness that fill our everyday lives. Goodness isn’t weakness. It’s strength practiced one choice at a time.
Here’s to a calm, centered Tuesday ahead.

GOOD OPPORTUNITY by Carter Ellis
Life has a way of tossing the unexpected at you. Sometimes when you least expect it. Sometimes when you need it most.
Back in 2019 when I graduated from Houston High School, I wasn’t sure what the future would look like. I’d drifted through life for a few years before getting myself centered and focused, but I didn’t know where that would lead.
College at U of M resulted in a BA in Communication in 2023, then on into the MA program. I guess you can say I like how words work. I like to think the right words can fix broken things. Good words can fix wrong ideas. And pastors and therapists rely on words as their main tools.
So, I have my final internship in the spring and should graduate in May with my MA. And then?
Six months doesn’t seem long when the task on the table is finding a job. My dad is a teacher and my mom runs a little home decor shop in Collierville. They won’t kick me to the curb, but I’d rather not be 25 and relying on them for everything.
The internship is paid, but that is scheduled to end with graduation.
Then the unexpected…
I’m down at Audubon Park enjoying the sunshine between my morning class and lunch. A little while ago, my phone rang. It was the guy that owns the company I’ll be interning for. He asked if I had a few minutes.
I said I did, and then he said, “Okay, Friday I got a call from a client who said I should expect calls from two companies he’s referred me to. Dubai… New Delhi… Big companies…”
He went on to say he wanted me to think about starting work in December, a month ahead of the internship. He said if I was willing to do that, he’d make a serious pitch to the two new companies.
“Roman Lenox…the guy that referred them,” he said, “told me he had some more clients that needed some help. He’d be passing my contact info on. So, if this all works out the job won’t end with the internship.”
And with that hope in place, I felt a great lift. I have to just say it… God is good.
Be your best you!

Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month.
Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.
I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.
While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
