CLEAR STREAMS AND NEW BEGINNINGS by Cindi Curtis

Friday mornings feel lighter somehow. Maybe it’s the rhythm of finishing the week, maybe it’s knowing the weekend’s close.

I’m between Teams meetings right now, so I decided to step away for a few minutes and water my plants. Sometimes tending to small things helps me think clearly about the bigger ones.

Michael told me this morning that everything is official—the paperwork is signed, and ClearStream, LLC is real. That’s what he named our LLC, and I really like it. It feels peaceful, purposeful.

I’m still a little amazed that I’m a member. I’m thankful too, because I’ve seen how many small steps led here—ideas, conversations, faith, and courage. It’s a reminder that forward motion rarely happens all at once. It’s steady, like water finding its way.

Today’s living green tip: If you love indoor plants, try collecting rainwater or leftover water from rinsing produce to reuse for watering. It’s a simple way to conserve and reconnect with what nature already provides. Little habits like that add up to a lifestyle of gratitude and stewardship.

Today’s verse is from Ecclesiastes 11:6—“Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed.”

I love that balance of faith and diligence. We can’t see the full result, but we’re called to keep tending the work and trusting God with the growth.

Here’s to ending the week with purpose, peace, and open hands.

CARRYING ON by Hayes E. Markel

It’s been a good week. Busy, productive, and thankfully smoother than I expected.

We wrapped up a few projects ahead of schedule, and I can already tell today’s going to end gently—which is the best kind of Friday.

Since that almost-dinner with Roman last weekend, I’ve felt like I’ve gotten my footing back. I decided the best thing I can do—for him, for me, and for my career—is to keep moving forward and stay focused. It’s hard, but it feels right.

That doesn’t mean it’s easy. Sometimes, like this morning, he’ll look up from his desk for no reason at all—just a glance, just a second of shared eye contact—and I can feel my heart trip over itself. There’s nothing said, just that look, and my mind instantly starts building stories that probably don’t exist.

My heart wants to believe there’s something there, but my mind keeps whispering that my path has to be my own. I’ve worked too hard to earn what I’ve built since graduation. I know it’s not a lot yet, but I’ve earned it. I don’t want my success to ever be mistaken as a byproduct of who I happen to be close to.

So, I keep my focus. I keep working. I keep showing up and doing the best I can, day by day. Maybe someday the timing will shift. Maybe not. But either way, I’ll be able to look back and know I carried myself with integrity—and that’s something I won’t regret.

Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:

Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month.

Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.

I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.

While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!

Again, thank you very, very much.

To Cindi: Glad you had a good week. I think the LLC is a terrific experience for all of you plus being a solid business venture. Best of luck going forward. Thank you for the devotional verse. Have a great day.

To Hayes: Only you can know the best path forward for you. Still think you need a wingman to run the field for you, but, okay. I also really think everyone who has interacted with you knows you have skills. After Milan? Lake Como? Come on. Everybody knows. No favors needed. Good luck to you and have a good day.
