Good morning, everyone! I hope your week is going well.

Yesterday evening, Michael and I played World of Warcraft and checked our vaults for the weekly rewards. He nearly fell out of his chair laughing (and so did I) when his “reward” turned out to be another trinket he can’t use. Meanwhile, I got a massive upgrade for my mage’s staff—sometimes life is fair!

Work’s been steady and productive. A few projects are wrapping up early, which always feels good, and I’ve been doing more remote calls than usual—one even from the porch where I’m sitting now. There’s something about crisp air and mountain views that make even work feel restorative.

Living Green Tip: When it comes to laundry, less really is more. Try using half the detergent you think you need—most modern washers clean just as well with less, which saves water and reduces runoff from harsh chemicals. Your clothes last longer, too, and that’s one more way to live sustainably without even trying.

This morning’s verse came from Ecclesiastes 3:12–13: “I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.”

I love that reminder: satisfaction doesn’t come from having everything perfect, but from being present and grateful for what’s already good.
