GOOD MORNING
Well, friends, it is my last full day in St. Croix, so I brought my blanket out to the hammock to watch the sunrise! It should be a nice day. We’re going out with a little change in the routine, then we’ll regroup for dinner.
Once I get up from here, I need to get ready for—wait for it—a day at the golf course. With the girls!
I’m not a golfer. Actually, Izzy—who also isn’t a golfer—might be the most golfer-esque of us all. But we’ve all decided it will be fun.
As always, let me say that I am very happy that you follow along on these—can we call them adventures? Sharing my stories with you gives me something to look forward to on a daily basis.
For now, I’m staying here a little longer. I want to see that sun actually peek up over the horizon!
See you soon.

THE BACK NINE
So far, I don’t think we’ve broken any of the many golf-etiquette rules! We’ve also not broken par. Or made par?Something about the right number of strokes that we’re definitely exceeding.
I’m not saying who—except it’s not me—and she is in this cart, but one of us may have been observed picking up her ball with her hand and throwing it onto the fairway.
She said, “It’s the rule book. It’s called a drop. It counts as two strokes.”
I don’t think that’s how it’s supposed to work, but I’m also not going to look it up!
If the goal is to have fun, we’re winning! Jasmine says she doesn’t understand why people like this, but the company is great and would be just as great if everyone was sitting on a patio somewhere.
She’s not wrong about that.
Also, something about letting the group behind us “play through” just happened, so we’re supposed to get on to the tee box.
I’ll be back tonight! See you then!
CHECKING THE COMPETITION by Kirina Yung
I’m in Port Isabel, having coffee at what will soon be one of my competitors. I’m still spinning over Josh’s deal.
His family is buying the building that was too large to become the new second Sea Glass Gallery location. He’s going to split it and lease half of it to me. The other half he’s leasing to AGI as a photo studio.
Now that we’re past New Year’s Day, I need to get busy and find a new place to live. I should add that moving closer to Eli and the people from AGI really feels great. I feel like I’m stepping into a new chapter of my life—one that includes meaningful relationships.
Wish me luck with the apartment hunting!
GOOD NIGHT
It’s our last night here in St. Croix—our last night at Carambola Beach Resort. We fly out tomorrow, heading for Houston for a few days while the remodel of our condo in South Padre Island gets wrapped up.
Tonight we had dinner here at the resort at a restaurant called Saman. I’ll spare you the play-by-play of what everyone ordered, but it was outstanding.
After dinner, Jason, Josh, Geoni, and I walked together back toward the cottages. Izzy and Kent went a different way, hand-in-hand and—I’ll surmise—heart-in-heart. I feel like they both know where they are heading and are moving towards it at a steady pace.
While we were golfing today, Jasmine asked me why Jason and I were waiting. I told her where my head is—was—and said we’re getting there a lot faster now. She said she understood, but I don’t think she really does.
If I’m honest, I don’t think I understand either. So we leave St. Croix, Jason and I agreeing that some random Tuesday (or Wednesday) will come when it comes. No cliché in sight, but a nice, satisfying moment, time to be determined later.
Before I close, you can thank Geoni for tonight’s pictures. She has a way of pulling my mood out and turning it into pixels!
I hope everyone rests well tonight and finds their way back here tomorrow.
May you know what you need to be the best version of you possible and may you know how to move toward whatever that is.
Good night.
Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:
As 2026 arrives, I want to acknowledge just how much the support and encouragement from you means. In addition to the cost of creating the content, a lot of time and energy goes into it as well. Your likes, comments, questions, and encouraging remarks keep me going, even on days when I'm pulled in multiple directions all at once.
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month.
Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.
I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.
While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
I believe I have found ways to give you more exclusive content, while still making the site meaningful to visitors and passersby.
Again, thank you very, very much.
