I’ve said it before, I think. If I haven’t, I should have.

My life is just better with Michael in it. The routines of life are better by at least two orders of magnitude when I get to share them with Michael.

We’re shopping after church. It’s a routine store run. It just feels easier and more interesting doing it with Michael.

I had a small panic attack over the butter display. It started with me realizing that the brand I like comes four ways: butter, no-salt butter, half sticks, and half sticks with no salt.

I spun up a decision tree to pick what would be best, then realized I didn’t know the difference between salted and unsalted butter.

Michael intervened to break the cycle. “Hey… think of something different. Apples, oranges, or both?”

“What?”

“Do that breathing thing.”

“Yeah…”

Let’s say I had half of a panic attack. Moving on…

Shopping is better.

Gardening is better.

Laundry is… Okay, never mind that one.

But life with Michael is better. Full stop. Period.
